“Motor City Coney Island Ft Myers 3-25-25 We had to stop by here on a Tuesday for their special priced Coney Island Hot Dog at $2.99. We arrived there at 11:37 with just a couple tables with customers at them, but the place was not packed. This place was neat and very clean with everything in order. I loved the interior, the little bar area and Patio out front. Let me start by saying my expectations were not set high as I figured I’m going to review a place that just serves hot dogs. Boy was I wrong! This place exceeded all my expectations by a mile and then some. They serve so much more than Hot Dogs; they serve Breakfast all day, they have all kinds of Salads, Wraps, Melts, Pittas, Clubs, Gyros, Burgers, Fish and serve Beer and limited Alcohol. They will even Cater events for you. I ordered the Original Coney which had Chillie, Onion & Mustard. My wife Ordered the Tuna Wrap. Our friend ordered the Chili Cheese Dog which came with Chili and Cheese Sauce. We all ordered a side of Fries with our main orders. Our food came out a short time later and it looked amazing. I could not believe how good our food was. Our Dogs were piled high with toppings. This was by far the best Hot dog I had in this area. My wife’s Tuna wrap was very good and so big she could not eat the entire wrap. Our friend loved his Chili Cheese dog. All our food was hot and plenty of it even the Fries were good. Our waiter Freddy was spot on with checking on us. We even met one of the owners Armando which took the time out to introduce himself. You must put this place on your Must Stop By List you will not be sorry and certainly stop back just like we are going to do. “I can't say enough great things about Mellow Mushroom! This is the best pizza in town! Whenever I go I always start with the pretzel bites! So yummy and addicting. Then depending on what I am in the mood for I get a salad or a pizza. The salads are all delicious but my favorite is the Greek or bacon Blue Wedge. If I do pizza I get either the Buffalo Chicken or Pacific Rim. I love the thick crust and basically all of them. Then if there is room, for dessert, the chocolate brownie or cookie with ice cream! 😋 oh and they have vegan and gluten free items! Can't go wrong here! “Come for the oysters stay for the swordfish BLT. We had a dozen East Coast oysters and four West Coast, absolutely outstanding. Additionally they have a bottomless Mimosa, and the swordfish BLT was large enough for my husband and I to share, knowing we were going to order the homemade donuts for dessert. This place is a must visit. Everything was so delicious!!!!“

“Picture it.. Minneapolis 2026.. it's -20 for the 10th day in a row and you're over it, so you fly to Ft Myers to thaw out. There's 2 hours before you can check into your air b&b so you pull up your pub pass and see that you're 1/2 a block away from a place, so what the heck... let's go!

That was one of the best vacation choices we've ever made. From the moment we walked in Shane had us on her radar. We found a spot at the bar and she immediately greeted us. She was amazing at helping us pick out the best things to drink. We tried one or two and landed on our favorites pretty quick. Shane was super knowledgeable about all of the beers when others would come in and ask questions about them as well.

Then Shan arrived and it got real. She was also super knowledgeable about all of the beers on tap and the two got to tag teaming the bar like absolute pros! Conversations began and between the two of them we got a pretty amazing layout of the food scene in Ft. Myers and just like that, all of my carefully laid plans for meals for the next 3 days were turned on their head.

In the end we all agreed that even though it was only 63 degrees in Ft. Myers it was still better than freezing to death in all of our home states. We finished our drinks and said farewell with sad faces but happy that we had gone off of our rails and tried this place on a whim. Thank you ladies, for helping us kick off our vacation in only the best way possible! This is definitely an experience we will be talking about for years to come!“

“The owner was so happy and eager to give us the best dining experience he could when we walked in. I had the pastrami and my wife got the chicken parm. Both were delicious, but the chicken parm was definitely the hidden gem... Thick and juicy with a really nice red sauce.

I also enjoyed the pickles, they tasted homemade. The macaroni salad was unique and different than any other macaroni salad that I have ever had, but it was really good.

Overall, I would recommend this spot. It's being run by people who are passionate about food!“

She is also very good and there was another one today I didn’t get her name, but she had family from Maine, which is where I am from. She was very nice as well and greeted me promptly when I came in. “Went here with my kids and our friend while in the area. Staff was friends they looked like a bunch of high school or young college kids. When we asked for recommendations they all gave there fav items. They where patient with us as first timers. Food was excellent. Pizza amazing one of my kids won't eat the outter edge of pizza because there is no sauce and cheese so the kid making it made sure to go to the far edges he ate it all. Highly recommend. Just wish there was one closer it was over an hour drive for us .“

The beer here is very good, but that's not all, the bartenders are friendly, and theres a great little outside patio with umbrella-covered tables to enjoy the beer.
