“This place came recommended from a fellow Michigander. We wanted a simple Michigan type Chinese lunch. We were pleasantly surprised by the setting. The lunch menu is all I wanted and the wife took half hers home. The tea was hot and good, the soup had a good depth of flavor and the wontons were really good. The egg roll had cabbage in it and not bean sprouts, but were good. The dipping sauce at the table were a good pairing. We picked chicken with vegetables and General Tao. Both were excellent with more flavor depth than what we are used to. My fried rice was a little oily but still okay. Our waitress was pleasant and top notch. One of the better places we have tried in the area and better than the place we are going to in Michigan. We will be back and try something else. Overall better than most and a good value.“

My personal “test” of any new Chinese take out place is their egg foo young, and I’m happy to report that my order of shrimp egg foo young from China Town II was one of the best I’ve had! We also ordered some beef lo mein, egg rolls, and hot/sour soup, all of which were also tasty. Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu!“

“Wonderful Chinese food! New to area and this is our 4th time ordering here. Each time everything has been consistent & excellent! The Mongolian Bean Curd is my favorite- its a great vegan option. Other places seem to skimp on the tofu and other veggies and you and up with a huge portion of sautéed broccoli and a few slivers tofu, and a tiny teaspoon of other vegetables-- not the case here! A generous portion of tofu, string beans, sliced mushrooms, tiny corn cobs, sliced carrots, bell peppers in the perfect ratio-- every bite is the same- loaded & balanced flavor. The Sweet & Sour Chicken is delicious, egg rolls are fried to perfection either a flavorful filling inside & very tasty. The staff is friendly & efficient. The restaurant is clean & tidy as well.
