“This is a great local take-out Chinese restaurant. I just came in and ordered and got our food quickly and it was hot and fresh. The portions are generous, taste excellent, and customer service is very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be our go to place for a Chinese dinner for home. The pricing is fair. They even had a sweet, traditional take out box for our rice.“

“Their food is so amazing and great I would definitely recommend eating and ordering here but I when I was just looking at reviews seeing what people thought of this restaurants food I noticed this one review, and the person goes by Thomas Robert, and he said that their was a kid being Loud while they were eating in the restaurant. But that kid is the owner’s son and he’s actually not loud at all he’s usually quiet and is really polite he usually waves and plays his video game. Don’t really understand why some people gotta lie or be rude for no reason. I’m not being rude or anything but just letting the owners know of this customer’s behavior towards a kid“

“I have been struggling to find a good Chinese takeout near my house for a few years now and I have FINALLY found it! I was willing to try Chinese takeout again after almost a year after constant disappointment. This place is clean, fast service, food was ON POINT! rice is authentic Chinese rice not yellow rice like most others! In a kind of sketchy area but definitely did NOT disappoint. So happy I found them, thanks Great Wall!!! We ordered Singapore noodle, crab rangoon and chicken fried rice. All delectable. Oh, I love the fact that they have an open kitchen so customers can see how the chefs prepare meals, definitely clean.“

“Ordered small shrimp fried rice and small shrimp lo mein and asked for spicy they didnt make it spicy and also gave me packet sauce on the side like it was fast food which is not. $15 is not worth the trouble. The quantity of food is good quality not so much. Could have been better.“

“Best Chinese food in the area since I left NYC. Fried dumplings 10 out of 10. Crispy and very fresh. The Mongolian beef, excellent. Shrimp and broccoli was perfect. Big shrimp broccoli had a nice snap to it and the sauce was delicious. So I will definitely give Star River a 5 plus.“

“Ordered from here for the first time yesterday (very picky about where I get my chinese from) I had a few friends tell me this place was good and consistant. I ordered my food online for pickup, it was ready and still super hot when I got there. The lady at the counter was very nice. I got a seasame chicken dinner and a general tso dinner, both came with fried rice, broccoli and a egg roll. The chicken in both meals were very nice flavorful and crunchy the way we like (got well done). The rice was good as well. It was a tad bit dry so I just added some duck sauce, still good. The egg rolls were super good and super crunchy on the outside. We also got crab rangoons those were nice and crunchy as well. Good flavor on the inside. Everything was super good and still had enough left over to eat for dinner. 10/10 will be back for sure.“

“The best Chinese take out in palm beach county! Born and raised in PBC and love Chinese takeout but good, let alone great, takeout is hard to find it seems. My personal favorites are the general tso’s chicken and sweet and sour chicken. The fried rice is great!“

Coming from Chicago, I have had a hard time finding a Chinese restaurant here that I can say I actually like. Until now!!!! I was referred to them from a friend last month and have ordered 4 times already! I generally get the beef mei fun and it comes with rice noodles. Plenty of meat and lots of veggies in it. Egg rolls are fat and nice and crispy with lots of flavor. Their name is exactly what will come out of your mouth after the first bite!!!!

The sauce isn't runny like a lot of other places. Other sauces I've had tasted like hot kool-aid. This is many times better. I also love the fried rice and white rice.“

“The only thing I disagree with is that they charge for everything! Beans sprouts in your fried rice $1 extra, vegetables in your fried rice $1 extra, extra onions in your fried rice $1 extra, egg added to any fried rice $1 extra. Keep in mind the are adding maybe a tablespoon of any of the extra stuff you want. That does not cost $1 per item. Vegetables and onions should be standard snd and an extra cost. So although the food is good your paying extra for the added stuff to make it better. If I did add the veggies, onions and bean sprouts, I would just have rice with a protein.“

“Was in town and found this hidden gem. Simple yet excellent spot with the usual classic Chinese American dishes that are very affordable. Definitely recommend any of the fried rice dishes. Apparently is under new ownership as well. Limited staff but very hardworking. Will be my go-to any time I visit the West Palm Beach area.“
