Tropical Latin Food Reviews
Outdoor eating, pleasant people and great good. Stew chicken, plantains and congri 😋
Came in for lunch after hearing a few good things from a friend, and it turned out to be a pretty nice experience. The tropical flavors really stand out, and everything tasted fresh without being overdone. I had a rice plate with grilled meat and some fried plantains, and both were really good. The staff was polite, even though it got a little busy while I was there. The place isn't fancy, but it's clean and comfortable. I'd probably come back to try a few of the other dishes...read full review
I went here with a couple friends after work and it ended up being a really good choice. The Cuban sandwich was packed with flavor, and the plantains were cooked just right. Our server was friendly without hovering too much, which I appreciated. The place had a relaxed vibe that made it easy to hang out for a while. It did take a few extra minutes for the food to come out, but everything tasted fresh so I didn't really mind. I'd definitely come back and try some of the other dishes...read full review

Tropical Latin Food offers tasty Cuban cuisine, currently served from a food truck after a fire. The pork sandwiches and cortaditos are popular choices, and the POrK! & black beans come highly recommended. Customers can enjoy large portions of dishes like beef stew with sweet plantains. The staff is friendly and easy-going, and the food always impresses. Despite the setback from the fire, they adapted quickly by setting up outside tables, using the food truck, and keeping drinks cold in a cooler. Many locals visit for their delicious Latin-inspired meals, and the restaurant is moving closer to downtown Fort Pierce for added convenience. It’s a great spot for affordable, flavorful Cuban dishes.
