“One of the newer and better taco bells in the surrounding areas. Food was on par and very good. Will come back. 4 star on service but they were short handed and took some time before someone noticed 5 people walked in, the drive thru girl walked in the back to find someone before we were able to order our food.If they keep up with employees that know how to work this place can stay in my top taco bell place to eat.“
“Recently visited El Jacalito and it is GOOD. The food is definitely a real step up from your standard Hispanic food mart with a kitchen attached. The highlight was most definitely the fresh fried corn base empanadas, they are unique to the area and to this type of establishment in general. One of my favorite recent eats. The other items I had were standard Mexican fare albeit again, quite good. The employees are friendly but the exact methods of service can use some work, there isn't really a protocol or established roles within the restaurant but you aren't really coming here for a true sit down dining experience anyway. Will definitely be back.“
“Food: great Drinks: good Service: attentive but seemed short staffed Decor: very colorful Noise: tolerable but noisy blender Price: more expensive than other comparable restaurants, they add 4% credit charge Location: reasonable Parking: reasonable“
“AHHHHH-mazing!!! Chips and caso THE best I've ever had. The chips were the lightest flakiest crunchiest most delish ever!!! Also we had the brisket enchiladas which I didn't think possible! Oh my holy wow!!!! Regrets. I forgot to take a photo! Beautiful food and people.“
“I paced an order for 3 Carne Asada plates. The line was short when I arrived at 6;30, but when I received my order about 15 minutes later the restaurant was busy with a line 6 deep of Hispanic workers who had just finished a day of work. Definitely authentic food with a variety of items from soups, burritos, quesadillas, home flan and tress leches. it helps ifYou speak Spanish (i know the basics), but the lady taking orders knows some English as well. Across the room is a butcher shop and adjacent to the restaurant is a market. Well worth a visit and eat in the restaurant rather than to go and take advantage of the condiment bar (salsas, veggies, etc)“
“Finally got to check this place out and so glad I did. We were greeted upon entering and chips and salsa graced the table as we sat down. Casual atmosphere with colorful and pleasant decor. We ordered a variety of dishes, everything tasted fresh and delicious. Our waiter Joel was super nice and respectful! We will definitely be back.“
