“Good food and portions, only problem is that everytime we go, I have to tell them to please turn down the (annoying) music. The employees have it loud for their benefit but my wife and I could hardly hear each other plainly. There were other patrons in the restaraunt that I know had the same issue but no one speaks up. Music is supposed to be BACKGROUND music - not a concert. Many other restaraunts do the same.“

“Love dining at Mariachi's for amazing Mexican food. We love the food at Mariachi's, always fresh, always delicious. We especially love bring greeted at the hostess desk with a smile by Milana. She is so pleasant and knows and greets us by name. Mariachi's ls doing it right from the front door all the way to the kitchen and it shows by the number of people always there enjoying a meal.“

“After disappointing switching from one Mexican dive to another in the area, we finally found an authentic family-owned Mexican restaurant that didn't cut corners to increase profit. Our biggest let-down was when we ordered Chile-rellenos at a competitor's and got a ' thin slice' of poblano covered with Velveta cheese. We've been with Rosy's since they opened and was so happy we found authenticity with quality that is not masked behind gaudy chain-restaurant decor. They are like family! Always wanting to please with a smile, they ask if you are satisfied and mean it. They have a large loyal following. Everyone who's eaten there say the same thing; they're the best. You won't be disappointed.“

“This is by far one of the best Mexican restaurants in Jacksonville. My wife and I learned about this place a week ago. We have now been here a few times. The staff is honestly one of the most professional, pleasant, and patient individuals we've come across in a long time. They make us feel as if we are walking into a family or very good friends house. I am not Mexican, (I am Ecuadorian) however I grew up in Los Angeles and enjoy mexican food very much. Their dishes are really fresh, they taste great, and the portions are very good and affordable. I love that they are able to accommodate my child, and made sure that his Torta was not only made the way he wanted it, but it also tasted amazing. The choco flan is out of this world. I would also like to recognize Jacobo (owner), he is one the most wonderful, pleasant individuals, I have ever met. When he and my wife talk about the different dishes their parents and family made for them, I can clearly see the enjoyment they experienced.“

“First time there a week ago food and service was perfect! I brought another friend 5 days later but this time the food was barely lukewarm. Service was good but my friend did not want to complain that her chimichanga was cold. Sometimes you just don’t feel like it. I didn’t care for my dish which I wouldn’t order again which was quesadilla with chicken and pineapple. I couldn’t taste the pineapple. I’ll go back but order something different.“

“So I’m a huge foodie.. this spot is my GO-TO spot for street tacos. I get the same thing every time: 3 care asada tacos (sometimes I’ll get their chorizo—YUM) with onion and cilantro. It comes with a salsa verde sauce and a hot sauce as well. First off, their corn tortillas are homemade (!!!!!!!!!) Secondly, the meat is always seasoned nicely. Third, if I could eat here everyday I would. There’s a slight language barrier, but that’s better in my opinion because I know that it’s authentic as it could get. I love this damn food truck. 10/10“

“I’ve been eating at La Nop since 2002. The best one, IMO, has always been the one on Beach Blvd. I moved away a few years back and was in town this week to visit friends and family. Met up here and the food was good. It’s not the same as the Beach location(though I’ve heard that’s all changed since ownership changed hands) but it’s still good. The prices are waaay higher now, but, that’s a trend everywhere. Nice atmosphere, great service. Queso is amazing. I am always chasing the high of La Nop on the early days.😍“
