“Good food and portions, only problem is that everytime we go, I have to tell them to please turn down the (annoying) music. The employees have it loud for their benefit but my wife and I could hardly hear each other plainly. There were other patrons in the restaraunt that I know had the same issue but no one speaks up. Music is supposed to be BACKGROUND music - not a concert. Many other restaraunts do the same.“

“Love dining at Mariachi's for amazing Mexican food. We love the food at Mariachi's, always fresh, always delicious. We especially love bring greeted at the hostess desk with a smile by Milana. She is so pleasant and knows and greets us by name. Mariachi's ls doing it right from the front door all the way to the kitchen and it shows by the number of people always there enjoying a meal.“

“We decided to take our taste buds on a little adventure and check out this shiny new spot in town. The inside? Oh, it’s a vibe! Think “perfect-first-date-to-impress” levels of ambiance. For lunch, I dove into the veggie Nacho Supreme, while my husband tackled the shredded beef chimichanga. Both dishes were seasoned to perfection and so filling that we both waved the white flag before finishing.
Our waitress was a rockstar, constantly checking in without being overbearing. But, like any story, there’s a twist. The bathroom, while functional, missed a key ingredient: napkins. My germaphobic heart wasn’t thrilled about touching the door handle after washing up—c’mon, let’s close that cleanliness loop! Also, when I asked for a lemonade to-go, I expected a fresh drink, but was handed a cup to transfer my leftovers. A minor hiccup, but lemonade deserves its own fresh start, don’t you think?
All in all, a solid 4 stars. The food and service are worth a visit, just BYON (bring your own napkin) if you’re as picky about bathroom details as I am.“

“My husband and I love to eat here and the only reason why I gave it a four-star is because he loves yuengling beer and they were out of it so he had to drink Modelo which he ended up liking. The food is always very fresh and good. The food did take a while this time and they had no people in the restaurant so I don't know why that was. Definitely recommend it. And our waitress who has been there for a long time is very, very sweet and friendly and attentive“

“Delicious authentic food. Soft taco shell is perfect texture. Tortillas have just the right amount of salt. Salsa is great combination of spice and flavor. Everything is fresh. Cheap prices. Highly recommended!

“First time there a week ago food and service was perfect! I brought another friend 5 days later but this time the food was barely lukewarm. Service was good but my friend did not want to complain that her chimichanga was cold. Sometimes you just don’t feel like it. I didn’t care for my dish which I wouldn’t order again which was quesadilla with chicken and pineapple. I couldn’t taste the pineapple. I’ll go back but order something different.“

“Really close to authentic Mexican tacos. Burritos not at all. Love the salsa bar really good and salsas are fire! Guac needs pepper! I hate that the hostess was hiding the special lunch menu and she recommended to just order tacos. What is the point to have a special menu if you cannot try? The tacos were good so we ordered more don’t worry about getting more money just let the costumer have a great experience and they’ll spend more money and recommend your place!“

“So I have been in Jacksonville for 3 years. Im a Texan and I want to keep the standard the same for quality and quantity in a meal as any place I love in my home state. I have to say this is it, this is the one. The portions are huge, the taste of each plate we tried was excellent. We did not try any of the seafood options. I have to say this is now my Mexican food place. Arturo was the best and made our experience exceptional. The happy hour top self margaritas for $6.99, you could not beat are not watered down.( I only had 1 ) my hubby is driving home lol. This is the place to try out for sure if you love Mexican like I do.“

“The establishment is very clean and set up nicely. The waitress was prompt with the menu and my drink order. When she returned, I was given some fresh salsa and chips. I ordered my lunch, and in no time, it was setting I front of me nice and hot. There was a nice amount of good and flavorful food on my plate. I ordered two types of Chimichangas one beef and one chicken. Both were very good, but I know next time I'm going for the chicken, it seems to have more flavor to me. The rice and beans were also good. The music was a little loud for my liking, but all in all, everything was great“

“So I’m a huge foodie.. this spot is my GO-TO spot for street tacos. I get the same thing every time: 3 care asada tacos (sometimes I’ll get their chorizo—YUM) with onion and cilantro. It comes with a salsa verde sauce and a hot sauce as well. First off, their corn tortillas are homemade (!!!!!!!!!) Secondly, the meat is always seasoned nicely. Third, if I could eat here everyday I would. There’s a slight language barrier, but that’s better in my opinion because I know that it’s authentic as it could get. I love this damn food truck. 10/10“

“I’ve been eating at La Nop since 2002. The best one, IMO, has always been the one on Beach Blvd. I moved away a few years back and was in town this week to visit friends and family. Met up here and the food was good. It’s not the same as the Beach location(though I’ve heard that’s all changed since ownership changed hands) but it’s still good. The prices are waaay higher now, but, that’s a trend everywhere. Nice atmosphere, great service. Queso is amazing. I am always chasing the high of La Nop on the early days.😍“
