We stopped for a couple drinks and ended up eating. Our bartender Juan was awesome. Even had his picture taken with Waldo.
Service is great. Food was great. The kitchen was super fast / enjoyed the whole evening.

La Nopalera Mexican Restaurant has been a favorite spot in Orange Park since 1991, known for its friendly staff and lively atmosphere. The restaurant offers a menu with classic Mexican dishes like fajita nachos and Taco Tuesday specials, which customers continue to enjoy. The margaritas are highly praised, especially for those who like a little attitude in their drinks. Customers appreciate the busy community vibe and attentive service, making it a good place for groups, as they have larger tables and a party room that can be reserved ahead of time. Many mention that the chips and salsa are hot, fresh, and served quickly, and the food quality remains consistently good. Portions are generous, and beer specials are often very reasonable. One tip from guests is to try the guax Mexican style (chunky) instead of whipped or blended. While some customers have noted that the corn tortillas can sometimes have an unpleasant smell, and that the food quality has declined slightly over time, overall, La Nopalera remains a popular choice for many who are willing to travel for great customer service and tasty, traditional Mexican fare. The place is also appreciated for its clean environment and friendly staff, despite occasional comments about service distractions.
