“Love the art of the place, but more importantly the food. We got a chimichanga, street taco of chicharron and I got the cerdo plate, highly recommended if you're doing lazy keto. They allowed us a couple of substitutions at not charge. On Sunday they have a margarita pitcher at a good price, good for 4 glasses. It was not a super busy, so service was fast even outside. Price was fair. We will definitely come back! ???“
“We came here for a late lunch a few weeks ago and thought the food was great. The service was a bit slow in the beginning. It was “Seat Yourself” seating and took a while for someone to come over and acknowledge us and ask what we want to drink. Everything was fine after that. We’ll be back!“
“We visited CL on a taco Tuesday. The blackened shrimp was amazing!!!!!! My daughter had the Americana taco and she loved it! The chips and salsa were delish as is the 1862 margaritas was the bomb!!!!! The bartender was so friendly and the decor was perfect! I highly recommend Cantina Louie!!! I will definitely return when e we are back in town!“
“This is an amazing place to have Mexican food. They serve really crispy nachos and tomato salsa. The tacos were amazing and was the fajita. We might become a regular to this place. Do remember that they don’t accept Apple Pay, so you must have your card that is the only option apart from cash, of course.“
“The people were wonderful! They worked with us (2 adults and 3 kiddos). Our server was very attentive and friendly. The food was delicious and well cooked as we asked. Only thing was there was no trashcan outside. We needed to throw out a few things and didn't see any outside the restaurant.“
“I am from Tucson, Arizona which has just been voted number one as a city for having fantastic Mexican food. Tucson is very close to the border of Mexico and the Mexican food is exquisite. I have gone to many Mexican restaurants here, because I miss the food so much, and nothing tastes like Sonoran Mexican food as La Nopalera does. I went to lunch the other day and my server was a man by the name of Oscar. The food was beyond perfect, the restaurant is spotlessly clean and the ambiance was wonderful! I loved every second of my lunch and my visit to this restaurant and will go back again and again. This is true Sonoran-style Mexican food!!! Thank you, Oscar, and La Nopalera!!!“
“Went out to dinner with the family and this place was amazing. The food came out fast and was hot and fresh. Everyone was great but our waitress Cheyenne was absolutely amazing, very professional and super skilled at her job. We had a really larger order & she got it right from memory with no problem! We truly enjoyed our food and service.“

“First time eating that chili ever in life and I had more ups than actually downs first things first our server was really kind and nice very knowledgeable of what they serve. I tried the chicken quesadilla and we also had the five sampler appetizer, which was so delicious especially the cheese sticks which were huge! I also had the presidente margarita, and I only have one complaint I just wish when they serve that drink that they put a little bit of ice in the actual shake container, and most of the ice in the glass, because it seem like both of them were filled with ice more ice that I’m used to. Other than that the food came out quick. My company enjoyed her cheeseburger and fries and I actually enjoyed my chicken quesadillas so I will be returning to maybe try more things.“
“Enjoyed the food much better than the last time o ate at this particular Tijuana Flats. The chicken/shrimp tacos were flavorful and piled on. The service was quick and efficient and given with a smile. Atmosphere was average but what do you expect for a lunch meal on Tuesday afternoon?“
“If you don't like your job, then find something else. The server was definitely unfriendly. He acted as anything we needed was an inconvenience to him. The place wasn't busy so I'm not quite sure why he didn't have time to wait on us? The soup was barely there because it was full of cheese & chip toppings. The entree was fine. The service was lacking!“
“Always hit this location for our Mexican Food fix, and they never disappoint! The food is excellent and the staff is always courteous. Consistency is the word that comes to mind when describing this La Nopalera restaurant, as I always order the same dish, and it's awesome every time. We are partial to this particular location, although they have several other locations in Jacksonville.“
