“This place is more than a restaurant, it has treated me like family the past 3 years. Welcoming me with open arms, greeting me by name and getting to know me and my friends. They always have the best food, served hot and fresh to your liking. Their Saag paneer, Daal lentil, and naan is unbeatable. This family-run restaurant goes above and beyond for their customers and cares about the Gainesville community. I cannot thank them enough. Since graduating, I haven’t found another Indian restaurant that even comes close to Tikka. You will not be disappointed!“
“First time trying & our thoughts:1. Staff are pleasant2. Atmosphere is take out not eat in3. Food….we ordered Chicken Tikka Masala, Butter Chicken, & Veggie Biryani (all were mild spice)Chicken Tikka Masala is ok - more on the tomato side with a kick of spice. Butter Chicken is the way to go - interestingly very light & wonderful flavor & we have leftovers so looking forward to that. No go on the Biryani - not a good flavor at all.If we get take out again it will be Butter Chicken & of course Naan.“
“Ate here for the first time today. Had an Andhra Kara Masala Dosa and it was delicious. Perfectly crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. The masala was nice and mildly spicy too. I've been eating South Indian food on Newark Ave in Jersey City for over 30 years and this was every bit as good. Drove nearly 40 miles to get here today and I'll so willingly be doing so again to sample more of their incredible food.“
“Small Indian Restaurant on Highway while traveling to Orlando. Stopped here while driving to Orlando as we wanted to have some snacks and tea. Samosa and Tea both were good and we also got our dinner packed from them. Small space to eat, but they are good on on their To Goorders more. All in all nice place to stop to have Indian food. Run by Gujarati family.“
