I love Pollo tropical but unfortunately it was moved off Archer road in Gainesville to some location inside the university I could not find it even with Google maps so I can't relate to you if it's any good there or not it was great while it was on Archer but I'll never go looking for it again tied me up in traffic for no reason and I couldn't find it not even so much as a sign once it said you're here I still couldn't see anything so I won't...
I ate at Pollo Tropical in the UF Reitz Union and I would say it is deserving of its three star review. The lines and wait times are pretty long, but that is to be expected on a college campus. The staff were very nice and accommodated my meal to ensure my sauces were all on the side. I don't usually like mustard ,but the mustard on the cuban was very good. I eat here from time to time because I crave their menu, but they rarely get it all right. The Churrasco was pretty good, but a little too done. They forgot the chopped tomatoes and corn on the tropichop and they were out of red beans. That was understandable and they gave me black beans on the side instead and they were really very good! I ordered on line for pick up on the shelf so I wouldn't have to wait, but I had to wait in drive thru line for 45 minutes even though...
