“I placed my order online so it would be ready when I got there. Never been there be this. I got there and it was empty (one person walked in after me). The staff was finishing my order and I decided to eat there since no crowd. I had the Thai chicken salad and a strawberry banana smoothie. The chicken tasted fresh and was still warm. The smoothie was delicious. Also, when I ordered, there was a special 'pick 2' so the total price was not much more than the salad alone.“

“We Visited my old home town Gainesville yesterday with my family to celebrate my daughter’s birthday . We had fast friendly service during our visit . The pizza and Caesar salad was delicious . Our server Trey was the sweetest person , he accommodated my wait for my pizza with cookies Marked with a star and told us we were all stars . “irst time going to Cava- What a find! There was a line, but no one in line got upset , I suppose because they knew they were going to get WONDERFUL food! Brenda was working the line, and she was really efficiently going- getting every order right, and not getting frustrated. Although there were a lot of people, we didn't wait long, and whatever time it was- it was SO worth it! The food was, (sorry Zoes Kitchen), the best Mediterranean around. The sauces were fresh and bright and very flavorful! Lamb kebab and falafel were tender and spiced well. Lettuces and vegetables were fresh and crisp. I just wish I could have tried everything- I don't think I would have been disappointed! Eat outside if the weather permits. Oh! Also, The ambient music was even good and surprisingly different from the ubiquitous droning normally heard in todays restaurants!“

“I frequent Newk’s on A fairly regular occasion, and also use them for catering events. I’ve always had a great experience, and if there was ever a time that something was wrong, it was taken care of immediately. The staff is always nice and friendly, the restaurant is always clean, and the food always taste great!“

“Not a big garden fan but I will have to say we went for lunch and the people were helpful and friendly, the new dishes were really good, and it was a quiet visit. Very impressed with this Gainesville garden. Keep it in mind the next time your passing thru. We enjoyed our lunch.

Vegetarian options: Alot of pasta.....so there is that.

Kid-friendliness: Our kids really like this restaurant. The mints are their favorite.

“I have the blessing of living across the street from this awesome restaurant with Al Fresco dining, great entertainment from lively jazz to classic rock n roll, friendly staff, reasonable pricing and sometimes watching little ones run n play and fur babies too!! Some great dancing -anyone can join in whether you are a “west coast swinger” or freestyle hippie!!“

“Normally come in every week on Wednesday’s. Always awesome, excellent service, clean and tremendous food. Based on my visit today Tuesday 6/18, 1:30pm. I would not recommend. 8 tables were not cleaned. Had to clean my own table. Mentioned it to server & it still took 25 minutes for someone to begrudgingly come out to remove stuff on (2) tables but did not wipe down. The other six are not clean yet. It is not busy. Tried fruit as my side for first time it was hard and not ripe. The cook, Mary Lou is always excellent! We’ll give it another try next Wed before I recommend to any of my friends!“

“We had my mother’s celebration of life yesterday. The Tower Road Piesanos catered our event. There are no words to express my gratitude to Tim and Mischa for their outstanding service. Tim worked very hard to make everything perfect - even putting up with all my requests. The food was over the top. “5 out 5 stars! Super friendly staff, our orders are always perfect and hot. LOVE the milkshakes. Took a bunch of lacrosse players there after practice and I think we have a new milkshake tradition!“

“Literally the only downside of this location is that it’s inside the mall. Honestly, the day this location moves out the mall will finally collapse on itself and raise like a phoenix from the ashes into its final form. Another Shands branch.“

A manager behind the counter saw that I was struggling to carry my stuff and came out and gave me a different carry bag as well as a drink carrier. It wasn't that big of a deal but things like that make a huge difference. Thanks to him I didn't drop everything because I was too stubborn to ask. Thanks!“
