Rodeó Mexican Restaurant is described as one of the cutest Mexican restaurants in the area, with a pretty outside sitting area. The food receives mixed feedback: some find it good, amazing, or very good with large portion sizes and delicious flavors, while others note that the scallops were a little overcooked and bacon is overwhelming in the Shrimp and scallops. The sweet tea tasted more like sugar water, and the birria tacos were too soft and falling apart. Service is generally described as wonderful, super nice, and great, though there were some hiccups that were easily resolved. However, noise is a common issue, with music way too loud and groups of women laughing and hollering, making it hard to enjoy the meal. Staff were also piled up in a booth listening to videos on their phones at full volume. The building was very warm inside, and the cost was high, with a lunch item at dinner costing more than a dinner. Staff have very limited English. The margarita and agua de jaimica were delicious, with actual agua frescas and a pretty large booze menu. Mexican corn/esquites was ordered for the app, along with a birria torta and fajita. The nopales that came with the fajita plate were liked, and the churros were filled and came with ice cream. There is excitement to have a place so local to eat at, and hope they stay busy.
