“THIs I S THE BESTEST PLACE ON ST. PETE BEACH!!!!!! Ya do not want to leave once you are there. Amanda is the sweetest and now she is my adopted daughter cuz i fell in love with her. She took very hood care of my 80 yr old momma and she had a blast . Devin will rock your world with his cocktails and the DUDE is Chris himself. Love my new tiki family. Always a great time with fun people and even better when it storms. Only tiki bar on my list to visit every single time I am here. And i spend a time there every day while on vacay. Generally I am not a drinker but on the beach a bloody Mary from Chris' beachside tiki bar makes me happy every time and Amanda will create a drink if needed and Devin is more than accommodating. “We stayed here for 4 days, out of those 4 days we kept returning to the cabana bar for a bartender named Edward. He was absolutely amazing and made our entire trip. If you see Edward at the cabana bar be sure to stop by and say hi! Great service, fantastic drinks (especially if you ask for bartenders choice!) would highly recommend over and over again.“

“Gooses is quickly becoming our Go-To local bar! With their fun and welcoming staff, great bar menu and super reasonable drink prices, they ARE the quintessential neighborhood bar! Steve, the owner, is a good sport and always does what he can to accommodate his guests. They're cheese steaks are AWESOME! (order them with jalapenos. You'll thank me later!) They have dozens of TVs for watching "The Game" along with Darts, Pool Tables and other arcade games! You can count on my wife and I to be there on game day! 5 -Stars All The Way!“

“Review of Doc Ford's Rum Bar & Grille St. Pete Pier We ventured from the Hyatt Place to Doc Ford's Rum Bar & Grille on foot as a group, which allowed us to enjoy each other's company and the beautiful St. Petersburg Pier at night. The walk was short and pleasant, enhancing our overall experience. Upon arrival, we were fortunate to secure an immediate reservation for a table for seven, even though the restaurant was bustling. Our server, Noah, was exemplary. He swiftly took our drink and appetizer orders, managing our table and others with remarkable efficiency and a friendly demeanor. We began with two dozen oysters on the half shell, which impressed even our Louisiana-native friends accustomed to seafood. They declared these oysters the best, largest, and freshest they had ever tasted, enhanced by a variety of sauces and hot sauces provided at the table. Doc Ford's offered an array of island-themed drinks, including non-alcoholic versions for our group member in recovery. I opted for the dry rub ribeye, cooked perfectly to my preferred temperature, accompanied by mashed potatoes and asparagus. The steak's charred exterior added a delightful flavor while keeping it juicy. Two of our team members ordered the seafood hiatus, a generous portion of shrimp, fish, and other seafood, which they enjoyed immensely. Other team members praised the ribs and fresh shrimp dishes, all of which were excellently prepared. As the evening progressed and the restaurant emptied, we enjoyed engaging conversations with Noah and other staff members. We shared a memorable moment watching the University of Tennessee baseball team win in the College World Series. This interaction, along with a shared appreciation for Drew Talbert's Bistro Huddy videos, made for a memorable night. Our visit to St. Petersburg for the Southern Lock & Supply Learning Expo and Trade Show was a success, and our evening at Doc Ford's created lasting memories. The restaurant's setting on the pier, excellent food, and friendly staff made for an outstanding experience. I highly recommend Doc Ford's Rum Bar & Grille to anyone visiting St. Petersburg who wants an authentic, nautical dining experience near the water. “Blind Shark was the closest bar to our Airbnb and did not disappoint. Coming from Wisconsin, we don't have local watering holes you can smoke inside, so that was a huge plus to us! Drink selection was perfect for our simple tastes, and the locals/bartenders were great. Food was amazing also!Their karaoke night, I made sure to sign up. In the process, I made a friend (who is a local) and got her to sing with me for her first time in years! My fiance and I became friends with her and her husband, spending time with them outside of the bar during our stay.The hospitality is bar-none (no pun intended) and I'd be ecstatic to go back in the future. Very comfy space.“

“My fiance and I stopped by last night for a bite and a drink, and I simply can't say enough about how fabulous everything was! we got a charcuterie board (3/3 option) and I was blown away by the huge amount of accoutrements that came with our meat & cheese selection!! we also shared the "old fashioned" (I hope I got that right lol) which was essentially an open faced pulled pork sandwich on grilled cornbread. It was EASILY some of the best pulled pork-and cornbread!-I've ever had!!! We weren't super hungry when we arrived, but we had no trouble finishing just about every bite of everything 😅 The staff was incredible, especially in terms of friendliness, service, and seamlessly handling a very busy Saturday night rush. Everything start to finish made for a perfect impromptu date night, and we can't wait to come back!“
