“Hidden gem on the water. Outdoor seating is a must to enjoy the private dining areas with tropical plants and views of the water filled with an abundance of fish and turtles. Food was amazing and our waitress Marissa was entertaining and attentive. Will be back.“

“My best friend & I went here for lunch today. Jorge , the GM, stopped at our table to make sure all was ok. It was great so far. Then we got an awesome waitress, Kristina. She could not have been any better. Had everything we needed and the food was outstanding. I called and spoke to Jorge and told him how pleased we were. People are so quick to complain so Kim & I decided to tell them how happy we were with start to finish. Gators Dockside has always been my favorite restaurant, and it’s still my favorite restaurant. “I took my mom and grandson here for brunch and we had the best, most friendly service! The food was fantastic!! At the table we ordered 1) the everything omelette 2) lemon blueberry pancakes 3) 6 mammoth muffins to go, and of course coffee! I ordered the side of fruit with my omelette, and the quality wasn’t great, but fruit isn’t in season right now, and it didn’t affect my experience. 10/10 would recommend!!“

“I have been going to this restaurant for a long time. I know the individuals that run the place. I also know the waitresses. The waitresses are like no others. Each waitress has her own way of dealing with people on a day-to-day basis. That base is depends on the mood and the attitude of the individual that’s approaching this with waitress. The waitresses will give back what they accept. What I mean is you harass them? They’re gonna harass you. They are loving, caring and Upstanding individuals that could work in any restaurant and draw a crowd. These waitresses and the hostess Whoever that may be are at their upmost, professional appearance, professional worth at ethics, and by far the most loving people I’ve ever associated myself with in a restaurant. As far as that goes that I have ever associated myself with in any atmosphere or location. So when I tell you that Jim’s Café. Is of the upmost respected, and the food is at its most excellent quality and quantity. There is no other restaurant in the neighborhood in my opinion that could even come close to the atmosphere, the loving care that one gets when they enter the door, the respected welcoming greeting when they get when they walk through that door and while they are there. It is my opinion that this restaurant is one of the best in Springhill Florida. When I lost my wife 10 months ago, I did not even know about this place. A gentleman from church introduced me to jam’s Café and I’ve been going there. at least once a week since I was introduced to it. I eat out more now that my wife has passed and I have no one to cook for or with. As being a one time chef I can pretty well take care of myself. But it’s no fun or exciting when you’re cooking for yourself. Therefore, I choose to associate with members of the Jim‘s Café. There is no other restaurant like it in my opinion. The food is great. The service is excellent. The atmosphere is like no other and the love and caring that you get from the people within is unexplainable. The love you get when you walk in the door is like you’re walking in and hugging the Lord.. You find no better Love from any finer people than those at Jim’s Café. The waitresses there and the hostess are one to be commended and honored of their service to the people in that area for the service they provide to these people. When talking to the waitresses or the hostess, you Feel like you’re at home talking to a sibling or your parents or your wife or your husband. It’s a one on one conversation. I want to sign off now, but there will be more reviews coming in the future from this individual because I find no fine a restaurant in the area that can match. Or hold up against jam’s café. In my opinion, they’re the best. Best food best workers best atmosphere you will find no better. In my opinion. Thank you God bless y’all. Have a blessed day.“

“My husband and I attempted to watch the sunset at Pine Island, apparently half of Spring Hill had the same idea...we missed it and decided to have dinner at Bayport Inn. Even though we were there 15min before closing, the hostess said we could still order and let us pick out a table. Our waitress, Nicole, was amazing! She went above and beyond, even though it was closing time. The food was wonderful and the price was great for the amount of food we received. We highly recommend having dinner here. They also have gift shops in the back. When it gets cooler we will be back to sit on the patio and enjoy some live music. This may be our new favorite place to go. Thank you to Nicole for making our evening memorable, even though we missed the sunset.“

“I love skinnys wings...but today was a failure. I ordered a 10 piece of breaded garlic parm wings (my fav). When they came out fresh and hot, I ate one and I could taste a fishyness to them. I had my buddy try one and she said the same thing. The waitress (who was great) took them back to get me new ones. Here's the kicker! I know they werent new wings. I know they were sat under a heat lamp for a bit and just left for re-serving. Not cool!! How do I know this. I left one piece of celery in the basket. when it came back out the same one piece of celery was in the same place. But thats not even it. When the wings were dumped into the basket the first time, they were dumped over the little container of ranch, and it left a perfect ring of nothingness under it..just the basked liner clean as a whistle. When the supposed new wings came out... the ring was still there, still void of any seasoning remnants. same wings... same fishy flavor. sorry but that was horribly disappointing! I still tipped the waitress a 10 spot on a 24 dollar bill! Not her fault. I still will recommend Skinny's and thier wings... just not today! I took 8 of the wings home... had my roomie try one and she said the very same thing.... Fishy. tossed them in the trash!“

Now that Covid is over, their hours are still very limited. They close at 2. We, seniors, like to go out for dinner, in the evening. That's when we went. Now, closing at 2, haven't been back in months, if not more. Today is Sunday. Think they would be open all day, but, no. Still closing at 2. Very sad. “This is our first time at Spring Hill location. We placed an online order a week in advance but we were told by staff that they are out of order at the time of arrival. We did not get any notification only to email to pick up an order at designated time. It would be better for the store to reserve the order for people who have ordered/paid/planned to pick up instead of selling to walk in customers.We were offered the whole turkey to replace our order at no extra charge. We accepted it. Just be mindful that online order does not guarantee that your food will be there.“
