“Surry Hills was so memorable I barely captured any photos or video, I just wanted to be in it. The space is calm and confident, and you can feel how intentional everything is, inside and out. Even the tiny things are dialed in, like the soap and lotion in the bathroom, and the specialty dog treats that make it feel genuinely welcoming. Now the food and coffee. Their coffee is perfectly dialed in, smooth, balanced, and consistent, the kind of flat white that tastes like someone actually cared about ratio, texture, and temperature, not just speed. The almond croissant was flawless, soft and gooey inside, with that crunchy almond top that gives you the perfect snap in every bite. 

And then the savory stuff surprised me in the best way. The avocado toast has that super satisfying crunch and texture, and it tastes like a real Australian brunch plate, not the watered down version. The quinoa salad with chicken was a wow too, hearty but still fresh, with edamame, greens, seeds, and that dukkah vibe that makes it feel intentional instead of just “healthy.” They got it all right, the coffee, the food, the details, and the energy.
