“There was more service for the politician in the backroom then those of us in the main dining room. Also, why have papa rellenas on the restaurant menu when only available on the cafeteria side. You may have a good reputation but ALL customers matter and not only the politicians giving a press release.“

“Pura Vida is one of my favorite breakfast/lunch spots because the food is always fresh and tastes amazing. I just graduated from UM and during my time as a student I loved meeting my friends at this location in the middle of campus! The servers are friendly and service is usually pretty quick. The space is a little smaller than their other locations, so I will say the tables fill up pretty quickly during the week, but it's still a super cute atmosphere to do work/catch up with friends at. Also prices aren't cheap, but the quality of the drinks/food is very good. The menu is smaller at this location too, but still has all the essentials. Definitely recommend this location if you're a UM student/faculty member, or just someone who wants to see campus while getting some PV :)“

“Simply the best sandwich I’ve ever had. Seriously. It’s amazing. Me and my girlfriend just happened to stop by and had genuinely the best sandwich we’ve ever had. I had a large pork Bahn Mi and had had a small beef one. It filled us up perfectly respective to our proportions! “Absolutely loved my experience at Sweet Paris! The Nutella crepe and Dubai Chocolate crepe were SO delicious, rich, decadent, and honestly some of the best crepes I’ve had! The glaze was the perfect finishing touch and made everything even better.

A huge shoutout to the cashier Santiago, for being absolutely amazing! He was so kind, attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience even more enjoyable and gave me recommendations. You can tell he genuinely cares about giving great service.

“I love it here. Great coffee. Lots of space. There’s plugs beneath each seat for laptop work. Super friendly staff that makes you feel welcome. Order-ahead app and kiosks for those in a hurry or the socially shy. Music is NOT BLASTING like most places in Miami (woohoo!)🤩. Super convenient off the train from Brickell (two stops at coconut grove 5 mins). This is the spot for a coffee date, some laptop work or just to get away from the craziness of the city. Wish more places were like you!“

We went with two of her recommendations. The il piu italiano avo toast and mega mushroom omelette…so good!! I went back the next morning because I really wanted to try the don’t be a (lemon) tart French toast…another hit. And my server, Rashad, was another gem! It is family friendly , we had two kids with us and they enjoyed the live musician with the violin . I felt so bad seeing only one employee running the entire place by herself on a holiday weekend. “Madruga bakery has the best bread in town!! And it is not even close. I drive 20min every Saturday to get my bread there.

But you need to fix the service. The line is not well organized and the folks at the check out are very slow. There is no reason why it would take 15-20 min to get bread when there are 6-7 people in line. You have a golden mine on your hand with your food quality and you need to have the same level of service. Bring a good manager with restaurant experience to help you improve the flow. Maybe a separate line for baked goods vs dining in. Incentivize the pre order and etc.“

Indoor and outdoor seating with a great vibe. And if you're lucky you can watch a little soccer going on. There's a field right there outside next to their outdoor patio.
