Jackpot! I think I found the cheapest Cuban bakery in Hialeah. For $11.00, I got: -4 guava and cheese pastries; -1 chicken empanada; -10 ham croquetas. And before anyone asks, as much as a fatty that I can be, this wasn't all for me. I took the goodies to share with some of my family who live nearby. A few things to note about this bakery. Being born and raised in East Hialeah, I was blessed with having a great choice among bakeries. Cuban bakeries are amazing.... the sweets are to die for, the bread is to kill for, and the croquettes... well they are heavenly. Casablanca Bakery was, when I lived in Hialeah, one of my two go to bakeries to buy from and was the closest one to my home... mere blocks away. I had been eating from there for over 30 years.
