Their crust is always done to perfection and has so much flavor that I just rip crust off of the pizza and eat it once I’ve had my fill. Also this particular establishment has been around since I was a child (I’m 31 years old) and it offers me MANY wonderful memories of my late Grandmother.“

“Good food, nice ambiance, friendly staff, reasonable price! We had a great time. The bruschetta appetizer was nice and the mussels appetizer looked so good I almost ordered it for dessert. There was live music. The atmosphere of the restaurant and bar was lively and happy. The waiter was very likeable. The food was very good. I ordered something where I needed to replace the rice with vegetables and it was no problem at all. At one point one of the managers came over to apologize for something that was just fine, and he was very personable as well. I felt welcome and look forward to going back.Dietary restrictions: One of the seafood dishes only came with rice. They happily substituted in vegetables for the rice.“

“Hubby and I had our second visit to Don Giovanni’s in Ormond Beach on 10/18/2023, and it was better than our first visit (if that is possible) Now we are hooked. I had chicken franchise and hubby had chicken Marsala. Both were wonderful. Chicken was so tender and both sauces were outstanding. I can’t say enough how good the bread is, just so fresh and delicious, salad is large and cold. Now, let’s talk cheesecake! We had the strawberry cheesecake….well, nothing like we ever had. “My son got locked in the bathroom last night b/c the bathroom door lock is broken, he was pretty traumatized. I had used it earlier and had trouble getting the door to unlock and open. I told the manager but she really didn't seem to care. She couldn't be bothered. I'm sure that's some kind of fire violation, if there's an emergency but your patron can't get out of the bathroom b/c the door lock is broken, you've got big problems! Get your bathroom door fixed!“

You get outstanding service by the wait staff. My only issue is nobody smiles or laughs . Everyone is so serious. Maybe because it's an expensive place to dine? “I was told by so many people to come here. I live in New York where the restaraunts are exceptional but nothing can compare to this place. Absolutely wonderful the food is amazing and the service is exceptional! The owners Sal and Anna are so friendly! I feel like I’m with my family everything I ate melted in my mouth. “Probably my 2nd visit here. They were crazy busy but still didn't have too long of wait times for food coming out. Bartender was friendly and worked very hard to keep up. The restaurant has almost an upscale feel but welcome casual wear so no need to dress up. I ordered the Tuscan Lemonade which was similar to Limoncello but a bit lighter and with some soda water added. I also had the fried calamari, chicken francese and a slice of limoncello cake to go. The pasta was great and the chicken was super tender, the calamari was very good not rubbery, and while it looks amazing I haven't had the cake yet. I wanted lots of food since I skipped lunch and this filled me up well making up for it! I'll probably have the cake tomorrow but I'll definitely be back again!“

All order more different items soon. Good Italian sausage too! I live in Edgewater and I constantly check the calendar to see when they are in my area……. If I order pizza I place an online order because there is a wait…. But that’s what you get when they make it fresh! Sometimes I’ll order a hot dog and tamale and eat that while I wait, but the online ordering is efficient. I would definitely recommend that for deep dish. Go Cubs!!“
