“I decided to try out MiraCali Bakery on my way home finally and I’m glad I stopped in. This bakery is centrally located right by the Hard Rock Casino (where Happy Pappy Diner was ). Upon arrival, I was greeted and shortly thereafter served at the counter. MiraCali is small but has a great selection of Colombian pastries, desserts and appetizers. Though they had specials for actual cuisine and offer a soup of the day, their menu doesn’t include a full range of dishes. I had Empanadas (Carne) Chicharron and Pan De Bono.. everything was very tasty and not too greasy. The price was extremely fair based on similar restaurants in the area. I really enjoyed their empanadas and sauces.. even the Salsa Verde which is secondary to traditional AJi .. the service was very good and quick. I would recommend and definitely return here. I look forward to trying their desserts next.“

“So happy they opened in this neighborhood - their empanadas are to die for and PACKED with filling. I had beef and chicken. The meat is so deliciously spiced/marinated and the alfajores - my god! “The pastries and cafe con leche were delicious. You can tell they bake everything fresh daily unlike other bakeries. There was a line when I walked in but all the ladies in the front brought the line down quick and I was in and out very quickly. Going to try the breakfast special next time I go! My experience was top notch.“

“Great patties!!!!!! However, wrapping the CoCo bread in plastic makes the bread sweat (wet) and gooey to the touch and taste. This is not pleasing to the eye or taste buds. Please brown bag the CoCo bread same as the patties!!!“
