The overall vibe and food is good but they are pricey as hell! You get the smallest drinks for $14 . The hookah people automatically adds their own tip without your knowledge but the receipt didn’t show gratitude… if you are not paying for a bottle you have to sit at the table instead… I remember being here a few times last year and I fell in love with it but since they changed things around it’s a no for me I won’t be going back. But if you don’t mind good food good...

The music and food is on point, especially the shrimp nachos and the crabcakes. We were greeted with smiles once we walked in. Our waitress was amazing and down to earth.
Only down side are the drinks. We tried a couple of their specialty cocktails and they all taste like juice, no alcohol!! The drinks are $18 in a small cup. We were disappointed about that. Bottle service is a must!

Chwa recently renamed Afro Lounge in downtown Hollywood is a place where your taste buds will rejoice, but your patience might be tested. If you’re willing to overlook service hiccups for exceptional food, give it a try.The drinks – a topic that stirred both delight and disappointment, the flavor barely justified the price tag.Music is too loud, server can barely hear you.Just be prepared to bring your own smile.
