but we weren't there to eat. We stopped by to check it out and have one drink. It was fairly busy and loud! The DJ was playing basically Latin music. The crowd was 21 to 35 years old. We didn't stay long and went on to the next place on the list.
This past August, we met up with some friends that we hadn't seen in quite a while. They suggested Areito's in Hollywood for a drink. The ambiance was really cool with lots of blue and purple lights. The dj was playing a lot of older Latin music, which we liked. There was some room for dancing, if you wanted to. It is not a large place, but it's very comfortable and big enough for our purpose. We ordered late last night, the hotel restaurants were closed and omg had to do it again today! The shrimp mofongo and the sancocho are better than my grandmas! Sorry grandma not sorry! Bread pudding was delicious too. A must eat if you are in the area craving for some real sazón!
