“The food is excellent! The location is unpretentious a hole in the wall type of setup. I have never found the staff to be rude. The staff is efficient and that may come across as rude as they are sometimes in a rush. Understand, you are dealing with another culture and what we may consider rude is not so to them. I recommend this place hands down fir the best Griot and awesome portions!”

“Short story: Good vibe; good food; and one weird thing.

Food. The food was good. We ordered Salmon and Mahi Mahi; I was hoping that the fish was fresh catch and stuff like that; I'm guessing it probably isn't. My side-salad was tremendously better than I was expecting, a legitimate salad with fresh veggies and good dressing. The coleslaw did not taste good and the my wife guessed that her green beans were canned. The desserts, Key Lime Pie and Reece's Pie were solid; we enjoyed the Key Lime Pie the most.

Atmosphere. The spot is killer. It is a marina bar vibe and we loved it. You get to sit at sunset with beautiful views.

The Staff. There was a ton of staff servicing the restaurant. We were able to order quickly; the food came out quickly; and the waiter was regularly looping around checking on us; can't ask for much more.

One Weird Thing. The weird thing was the credit card fee on top of our bill which was about 5% which seems extravagant. Tbh, it kinda spoiled the vibe because (1) it seems more than they're actually being charged and (2) they need to bake that in the price.

Black Point Ocean Grill is a solid local spot and we will be back, we might plan to be cash though, until they can get their act together.”

As a courtesy they brought out more tacos then we ordered. Ordered 6 tacos and they brought out 9. They had me taste test some tacos I've never had before.
Can't say I'm a fan of Tripa tacos just yet.
-Carne tacos were well seasoned and tender.
-Lengua tacos were a little tough but nicely seasoned.
-Al pastor tacos seemed dry. Almost like they had been sitting for a while.
- Barbacoa tacos were well seasoned and tender.
As my first time eating here I'd say my favorite taco was the Carne. The barbacoa a close second.”

Hands down some of the best I've had — that perfect balance of savory and slightly sweet with just the right amount of char. This is the kind of authentic Mexican food that keeps you thinking about it for days. Already planning my next visit. La Pasadita in Homestead is a gem and I can't recommend it enough!”

cheese not being same temperature as the rest of the sandwich or biscuit (happens in the morning)

Cheese not being aligned in the center of the sandwich (regular issue)

The fries sometimes dont have any salt (this usually happens past 6 pm)

Sometimes, when I come late at night, the tables are dirty.”

The atmosphere is so warm and cozy, and you can really tell it is a family-run place because everyone makes you feel right at home the moment you walk in. I tried the Tres Tiros, which is a amazing mix of mashed plantains, eggs, salami, and cheese, and it was honestly one of the best Latin meals I have had in a long time. The coffee was also super rich and delicious, which was the perfect way to wake up. It is a total hidden gem that serves authentic food with a lot of heart, and I will definitely be making this a regular stop whenever I am passing through the area.”

“pizza was great, been there several times. very disappointed they were short staff so took a while to get greeted and sat. the pizza was served fast. waitress was pleasant and friendly. was upset most staff did not wear masks. the parking lot no fault of restaurant had almost no parking lot lights, flooded from rain. the restaurants bathroom with one toilet had no toilet tissue, at 9pm. I guess my experience was so so, I would try them again.”
