“Went to The Licking One hour ago - South Miami Location. I was served by Trenese She was knowledgeable about the menu. She was friendly. I ordered the Fried Conch Dinner, with candied yams, collard greens & a side of pigeon, peas and rice. I was delighted by the quality of the food. I was so impressed. When I got home I asked my son to come over and do a taste test. He enjoyed the food and now I have shared the location with him. The Licking Food was a good value for my money. The place was spotless, and the air conditioning was working very well. I will be returning.“

“I’ve been here once but eaten from here about 3 times and let me tell you there’s nothing like food made from the soul that leaves you shaking your head in disbelief. The environment is always clean and friendly. Even when one of my orders was through doordash and was late, the food was STILL delicious. (Not the restaurants fault btw) the chocolate cake is yummy. The food was awesome and fulfilling. Anyway I give this place a 9/10 im not just overhyping this. As a foodie this leaves my soul feeling satisfied. Don’t expect 5 star quality, expect food made with love“
