O'Leary's Restaurant & Irish Pub is a cute and wholesome establishment with a comforting atmosphere and simple decor. The restaurant is very clean and organized. The crowd is often nice, quiet, and older, contributing to a relaxing environment. There is live entertainment on Friday nights and karaoke on Saturday and Sunday. The venue also features a pool table.
The food is good, hearty, tasty, and very fairly priced with generous portions. Many dishes are obviously homemade. Specific praised meals include the beef stew, the fish dinner every Friday, corned beef and cabbage, the Thanksgiving plate, shepherd's pie, and bangers and mash. The rye bread is noted as being the absolute best. The .50 cent wings are very well priced, crispy, juicy, delicious, and exceed expectations, with a special mention of 20 wings for $10. The drinks are strong and well made.
The service is great, excellent, friendly, welcoming, personable, and the staff is phenomenal. A point of feedback is that there can be a musty smell at the bar. The restaurant is tucked in the far left-hand side of the parking lot but is worth looking for. It is highly recommended as a new favorite restaurant.
