“You know... it wasn't bad. I was prepared for a real dive but it was surprisingly good. A lady i know says she got jumped here a few months ago. Decent size bar. 2 pool tables. I took 1 star off because it's cash only, who carries cash in 2023? Even PTAs have square.“
“Updated review...Can no longer smoke inside. I am a cigar smoker but... that is OK! The place is spotless. Owner Carmen has made the place an easy and enjoyable to have an ice cold beer or a decent cocktail. GM is Mike and he is hands on. The Florida heat is in high gear and the air conditioning in the Village Pub is the best. The owner spent a small fortune expanding the outside patio... more fans, large covered area, new pavers.Bartenders are attentive and the clientele is friendly. Most of all... beers and drinks are reasonable. I would recommend to anyone to stop in and have a drink whether local or just passing through.“

“Stopped in at the former Sunset Grille now Sharkey's. I had the most phenomenal service ever! There was no cook on duty and one of the owners, Shawn went back to to the kitchen and prepared my food order! Above and beyond customer service!“
