“Wonderful place with quality people! Huge selection of flavors. We all loved the ice cream. And the manager treated us with integrity and kindness. We went there while on vacation for our last night in Ind. Rocks, and my daughter accidentally left her purse. We didn't realize until we were leaving out early the next morning. We contacted the manager, and they mailed the purse back to my daughter. They were such a blessing to deal with, and I appreciated them going out of there way to do that for my daughter. That speaks highly of the place, imo. And to the manager, thank you for all you did for us!“

“Talk about a WOW factor. Must go to place in downtown Dunedin. Look for the Red Train car for Lanes Lemonade. The variety of drinks, soft serve ice cream and pretzel snacks are delicious. Perfect portions and phenomenal tastes for each item we ordered. The staff are extremely friendly and provide quick service. Definitely coming back again when downtown. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. FIVE-STAR service and OUTSTANDING tasty drinks.“

“Went 15 minutes before closing. The owner Ruth happily welcomed us and let us enjoy our ice cream in her shop even though it was after closing time. The ice cream was amazing! The shop was clean and cute. Everything was perfect. Service was great.“

“Amazing ice cream. I had a waffle bowl with 1 scoop pistachio and 1 scoop toasted coconut. Big scoops see photo. $11. Line moved fast. Not enough seating but it IS a boat dock so expected. The trade off is a great view and people watching.
Dietary restrictions: They do have dairy free cold treats.“

“This place is a hidden chocolate lovers dream! The staff was genuinely friendly, and got to meet the chocolatier making the Dubai bars. She said she makes almost all the chocolates there. I love chocolate and wasn’t expecting anything too exciting with my chocolate and mm covered rice crispy treat but omg. That chocolate was PERFECTLY tempered and smoooooth as silk. This is def not just melted down chocolate chips. Someone knows what they’re doing and it’s clear there’s years of experience going on. Oh. And SIXTEEN flavor of old fashion fruit slice candies. Try the chocolate covered bacon. Just do it!“

“Everything we have ordered here has been delicious! Service is good but could be friendlier. It amazes me how employees these days just look at you waiting for your order without saying “hello” or “how may I help you”. It is more a comment on the younger generation and not this location, in general. It is always clean and bright with music playing. Has outdoor seating as well.“

“We were in the area for spring training baseball and came to John’s Pass on the recommendation of a local friend. We had just finished eating dinner on the dock at Caddy’s and came looking for ice cream… and this place did not disappoint! We love supporting local and independent ice cream places like this especially when the product is so good. I got a waffle cone with Captain Butterscotch and my wife got one of their chocolate ice creams - both were very good. And it’s just fun to eat ice cream on the boardwalk! Definitely recommend!“

“Best Icecream shop in the area!! The create-your-own was absolutely delicious and it was another real treat watching it be made with nitrogen pouring over the counter. “We called here today after a road trip from Orlando do to orange county choppers and Harley Davidson, we were served by George who is a gem, a real lovely lovely guy, asked us where we were from etc, apologised many times for the shop not having hot fudge but he made up for it with an extra cherry on the top, an excellent server and made sure he said goodbye to us as he was serving at the window and seen us leaving he finished with his customer and made sure we caught his attention so he could say goodbye, I do t know when I will be back in St Pete's could be next year or even the year after but when we do I hope George is still there as we will be calling again, oh and also the ice cream is lovely“

“We recently visited this ice cream shop as a family, and it was such a treat—literally! My husband tried their dairy-free mint chocolate chip, and he loved it. He couldn’t even tell it was dairy-free—it had that classic, refreshing mint flavor and smooth texture that really hit the spot. My son and I shared a scoop of chocolate peanut butter, and it was absolutely delicious. The chocolate was rich and creamy, and the swirls of peanut butter gave it the perfect salty-sweet balance. We also tried the Chick-O-Stick cone, which was a fun surprise—crispy, nutty, and nostalgic. This place clearly puts care into both their traditional and dairy-free options, and we’ll definitely be back for more!“
