This was my first time. I ordered the large platter - which is supposed to feed 4 - it fed 7 of us and we still have leftovers. The meat was delicious and the hummus is out of this world. The owners are very nice and the atmosphere inside the restaurant is amazing. Don't hesitate to order from here or come in for a beautiful meal and wonderful experience!
This is probably the best authentic Mediterranean cuisine in Jax!

Cedar and Olive is a restaurant that serves Mediterranean food. The large platter is supposed to feed 4 but fed 7 people with leftovers. The family meal is perfect for 4 and also has leftovers. The meat is delicious, and the hummus is out of this world. The sampler was fresh and delicious. The tawook chicken is tender and well seasoned, and the garlic sauce is a perfect compliment. The steak is the best, and the whipped garlic butter is a must have. The lentil soup and fattoush salad have great flavor. The tawook, kabob, hummus and grape leaves are also enjoyed. The chicken and meat are always lean and clean, and the food is super fresh. The portion sizes are a great value for the price. The owners are very nice, and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is amazing, and the dining area has a laid back vibe that works for a quick lunch stop or dinner with the family. It is a Jax Beach must try.
