Fresh, delicious, you won’t be disappointed. Try to Kobu.
Chef Tuna brings a new meaning to omakase in Jacksonville. Not only was it delicious but magnificently prepared down to every detail.
We had such a great experience at Kobu. The whole night felt special without trying too hard. The food was beautiful, full of flavor, and every dish felt really well thought out.
Anthony took great care of us and made the night even better. The bartender also recommended a sake that paired perfectly with dinner.

KoBu offers a great experience, with food that is beautiful, full of flavor, and well thought out. The atmosphere is fun, and the staff members are attentive, welcoming, and take great pride in their craft. Guests have enjoyed the omakase experience, with each plating described as a work of art. The dishes are delicious and creative, and it is fun to watch each dish being prepared. The wagyu and mushroom fried rice, also mentioned as Truffle Wagyu Fried Rice, stands out, along with the pork Gyoza (5pc), Fish Bone Miso Soup, KoBu House Salad, Chu-Toro, Unagi Handroll, KOBU House Roll, Kyoto Night House Roll, Bincho-Tan Salmon, and the Koi roll. The sushi is some of the best and most fresh. Dessert included cloud cake, with Vanilla and Chocolate slices. Wine, sake pairings, and cocktails were spot on, and a sake recommendation paired perfectly with dinner. The service was amazing, and the whole night felt special without trying too hard. KoBu is a place guests look forward to returning to.
