Made a stop by Key West Conch Fritters because word on the street is that they are the best in town. I have never had Conch before, so I didn't know what to expect. The batter was delicious and the accompanying sauces took them over the top. The mustard based sauce was my favorite! I am not a huge Conch fan, but if you are this is well worth the stop. You can't come to Key West and not try Conch!
Live in Florida 2 counties over and this has ALWAYS been our go to place for Conch Fritters in Key West in the heart of Mallory Square. The same guy has been running this charming stand for probably 20+ years, and IS THE ORIGINAL Conch Fritter stand!!! ALL other copy cats came after.Such a nice friendly guy, SUPER helpful in suggesting places to check out in Key West and its a pleasure supporting his small business. A small stand in one of those tucked away corners in Key West - it is worth finding!We tried the coconut shrimp, the calamari, the conch fritters and the lemonade. Service was friendly & literally everything was very fresh/made to order, and flavorful!!Highly recommend!!
