We absolutely loved this place ! We had espresso martinis that were one of the best I’ve had. My husband also got their Maria-Rita , which was truly the best we had in the keys- great taste and very clearly made in-house (not your basic mixers). Would recommend !

We were out wandering around town and stopped into another establishment and had THE WORST Bourbon Old Fashioned — EVER!So we had passed by The Roost which looked really nice — small (probably seats 20), tucked away on Fleming Street, cozy with dark wood and had an AMAZING time.The bartender, Robyn, was a riot — great personality, sense of humor and knows how to make a drink. Any drink! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️There were a few regulars who seemed to know one another and also enjoyed the place!We’ll be back for sure!

Went in for a quick espresso martini, had the signature one and a traditional. Both were delicious and friendly bartender.
Fabulous bar! Felt like a hidden gem. Quiet, cozy and beautifully decorated with a handsome bar stocked with all the best things you'd want to drink. Special shout out to Robin behind the bar who is so hospitable and warm! Definitely a great off the beaten path option if you want to have a nice drink without being around hordes of people.

The new person at The Roost was kind of disappointing. She did not have the right skills, seemed uninterested, and had problems dealing with difficult people at the bar. There were lots of mistakes with orders, which showed she was not ready for the rush. It is a shame because The Roost used to be awesome. I really hope they do something about it and make sure their bartenders get the right training. They need to get better and bring back the fun vibe that made The Roost a favorite in Key West.
