“Highly recommend stopping by Melissa’s kiosk first. We were trying to find last-minute tickets for a sunset sail, so we stopped at her outdoor kiosk on Margaret Street between the two restaurants. She got us a great deal on a beautiful wooden sailboat with only one other couple onboard.

Since the sail was BYOB, Melissa recommended Uva, and that recommendation made the entire night. Mark helped us pick out a bottle, and even though we don’t know much about wine, he made the experience effortless. He was incredibly knowledgeable, took the time to explain everything, and genuinely cared that we had a great experience.

My recommendation is to stop by Melissa’s kiosk first, book your sunset sail, then head over to Uva and let Mark know you booked the sail. Have him recommend a bottle of wine and add a charcuterie board to go with it. It made for one of the most romantic evenings we’ve had.

The entire experience was perfect and became a core memory for us. Thank you, Mark, at Uva, and thank you, Melissa, for making it all come together.“

“Had dinner at Bruchetta last night. everything was spot on from the mocktail and Becks NA to our Gelato dessert. We shared the Classico Bruchetta, the TRIO and the Gelato. We had the Trio with Picante that was spot on. The shrimp and fish were great but the surprise was the size and tenderness of the spiney lobster tail. The Sicilian spaghetti was another surprise. I am not a pasta lover and this was so good. our server Jimmy was very helpful and his recommendations sealed the deal. This is not cheap but worth it. I will gladly come again next year.“

“We always have a wonderful evening at Viv. The avocado deviled eggs and the Italian charcuterie and cheese board (The Godfather) are favorites, along with their delicious bread. We enjoyed a French red blend with dinner and a sparkling moscato with the dark chocolate fondue for dessert. Live music in the evening adds to the intimate bistro ambiance.“

“Have been there twice. Last year was amazing. Everything perfect. This year, the special was prawn (not gulf coast shrimp as specified) and the prawn had the seafood stank, unlike typical fresh seafood. Didn’t want to cause a stink. Way overpaid IMO, we’ll be back about a 50:50 shot. Wasn’t busy? Perhaps off season? Idk.“
