“This review must be balanced on the reality of what I experienced. I never met anyone there working with a poor attitude, everyone was very nice and pleasant. However, the staffing was short during a few days of our stay. They were overwhelmed with the amount of people eon the nicest days. This means the service experience suffered. Basically one or two people helping hundreds of people at the pool, that is not doing the service staff any favors. It certainly got frustrating a few times, but not for the lack of staff effort. They were always running to cater to the customers. I give those who were working during March 15-20 a ton of credit. This is why I list service as 3 out of 5 stars. Management should have expected the surge in customers during the northeast spring break. Food was good and atmosphere is always incredible. Overall we love it there, but the service management team need to plan better staffing. Always enjoy our time at the Salty Rim and pool. I see people having a problem with the 20% tip being automatically added to the check even for small (2-4) people, this seems very common in Orlando area. tips are generally voluntary in the Northeast, but I see it is different in most Margarittaville area restaurants. Strange but not a negative. It would be a negative is the service was poor. We did not experience poor service by any individual.“

“First time visiting Sickie’s from Northern Ireland, amazing from start to finish. If visiting, ask for Chester, he was a fantastic server and brilliant with our 5 year old and checking to make sure everything was okay. My partner wasn’t sure what beer to have and Chester was able to select one for him (which he really enjoyed). Food was great and so fresh! Atmosphere and decor was awesome! “Loved this place! There was no line and no wait. We just walked right up, ordered our beer, paid, and got our drinks. That easy! There were quite a few picnic tables nearby, all of which were pretty empty. The American pavilion was the best pavilion (as far as lines) that we'd seen all day. So we stopped and sat by the picnic tables. There were another set of picnic tables that we moved to when it started to rain a little more.“

“I loved our experience at Grande Lakes except for one thing. The pool! One day I was looking down at the pool and notice something off about the main pool. The big pool in the middle was greenish/brown! I called down to the desk and the said they would check it out. At that point my kids had already been in it. I was supposed annoyed. I also called the recreation department. I still have not heard a response to what it was that was wrong with the pool?“

“I like this place. Food is good and made fresh and I think prices are reasonable, especially given it’s inside a hotel. They have burgers, salads, a few kids options and lots of different drinks and packaged foods. The people are very nice and helpful. $15 for a burger and fries, $12 for a chicken Caesar salad and $11 for kids meals.“
