I needed somewhere open at midnight on the cusp between Christmas Eve and day. They were open. Thank goodness.
It was busy I imagine because holiday.

We had never been to South Philly and Shawarma King, but it was near our hotel, and we wanted something simple to eat. We randomly selected South Philly as a place to grab a bite. We walked in and were greeted by the nicest people on our whole trip. We are kind of used to people “putting up” with tourists. Here, we were treated like we were long-awaited guests. There was nothing insincere or fake about it. It was a warm welcome.

The employees were amazing. Very hospitable and welcoming. I felt like I was visiting a family member. I have never received such good service in my life. I am from Chicago and came to visit Disney and this place was open late. The cherry on top was that it was halal. Not to mention the top tier service. I received my food immediately upon ordering and got many extra things with my meal. Amazing atomosphere and delicious food. Very fulfilling experience!
