Today was St. Patrick’s Day and it was very busy. We made reservations and they called us twice to remind us to be sure we got a table, it showed they cared 🙂
While we were there, every single employee we saw was hustling and working hard! It was a little slow, but the manager and staff looked so concerned about it and you could tell they were working really hard!

This local chain (three locations) is owned and operated by the partnership of Chuck Jamieson and Duke Mendel. They are relatively new to the food scene and as such, have accomplished a great deal with three locations. Kudos to them.

1916 Irish Pub Lakeland is a wonderful spot for any time of day, with both indoor and outdoor seating options. The service is outstanding, with attentive staff who provide excellent recommendations. The food is phenomenal, with a variety of options including the fried fish sandwich, the Cuban, the shrimp po boy, and the Nashville hot chicken sandwich in a wrap. The star of the show are the Irish nachos, made with homemade potato chips, lamb, and a unique sauce. The pub has something for everyone, with great prices and a constantly changing selection of dishes, making it a regular favorite for visitors. The atmosphere is welcoming, and management is awesome, ensuring a great experience. Located at the Cleveland Heights golf course, it’s a hidden gem of Lakeland and a must-go spot.
