Outstanding food authentic a real Jem, I can see why they've been around so long. I highly recommend them I was looking for a go to place on the North side and I have found it.
Lee was the star of my experience at this restaurant. I had recently moved up to the Northside back in August and I always do laundry next door and I always walk by the restaurant so today I finally had the chance to experience it. Some of the previous reviews are very harsh about the interior. Yes it is dated but that is what adds to the experience. It made me feel at home. I was really hoping to like this place. I should have known better when we walked in and it was messy and not very clean looking. Shared a cuban and stuffed potato with my husband. The bread was fresh and tasted good. Meat was sparse and they use chunky red onions which was a negative. The potato ball was microwaved but still tasted like old grease. The lady behind the counter wasn't very friendly. Unfortunately, this will be the last visit for us.
