“TA Slammers is exactly what a dive bar is supposed to be — cheap drinks, smoking inside, pool tables, and a narrow “one long alley” layout where you can see everyone the second you walk in. No draft beer, no kitchen, just chips and boiled peanuts — survival rations for when the drinks hit faster than expected. Come for drinks not dinning.

The bathrooms… listen — I don’t recommend trying to discover spiritual enlightenment in there, but if you absolutely need to drop off a tax deduction, the option exists. Function over comfort. Blink-and-you’re-done type bathroom where you lose your soul on the bowl 💀😱

Taylor is pure spark and chaos in the best way — if an e-girl clown and Roz from Monsters Inc. fused with a dash of Harley Quinn energy, that’s her. She doesn’t just make a drink, she performs it — attitude, comedy, and delivery all in one shaker. And if you start acting stupid, she’ll 86 you with a smile and make it look effortless.

Together, they are Slammers.
Without them, it’s just a smoky hallway with alcohol with a door that slams.

“The beer is iced cold. Food is great. Our main server was great. There was another girl that brought drinks to the table and asked if we needed anything else and I replied we needed napkins because the were only 3 sets on the table and there were 5 of us. I ended up having to take napkins and silverware from an unoccupied table, the girl never brought us silverware or napkins. I guess that's to be expected with the younger people now days.“

“We came for a Celebration of Life for a special person that came here on occasion. We had a great time. Tap beer was as cold as it gets & the magnificent bar server even chilled the glasses before filling with wine. I wish I knew her name. I haven't shot pool in a few decades (pool costs $.25 last I played) & had fun shooting with a local named Bee. If we lived closer, we'd be back. Only drawback is the smell of smoke.“
