We were here for the strawberry festival. Found Charlie’s through the google search. Reminded us of our small hometown cafe. The home made food is excellent. A definite add to your dining plans. Note from their menu, “This isn’t a fast food restaurant so relax” it’s worth the wait. Enjoy.
I have a mild obsession with breakfast potatoes, and Charlie's has amazing homefries. The staff here are all amazing, and they know most of their customers by name, as well as what their regular orders are. It can be difficult to find a parking spot, but it's totally worth it.
Food took around 45 minutes when we went and there were people ordering similar stuff getting their food first. It was ridiculous and the food wasn’t very good. Just go to Waffle House. I don’t know if they have something against tourist and just serve the regulars well or what but I wouldn’t go again. Not to mention the seating is horrible.
