Sora Eatery is a modern fusion restaurant located inside the Lakeland Linder Airport on the second floor, offering stunning views of the airport where you can watch planes take off. It is considered a hidden gem and one of the best restaurants in Central Florida, with food that is flavorful, unique, fresh, and far better than usual airport fare. The atmosphere is perfect and the restaurant is super clean.
The menu includes items like the fondue burger, the kimchi burger, pork belly tacos with a fried bao bun shell, smash burgers with a cheese skillet, the mushroom smash burger, cheese balls, kimchi dumplings, a chicken skewer, and bowls like the pork bibimbop and beef Bulgogi. The food is a delicious mix of flavors, sometimes a little spicy, with perfect eggs and good portion sizes. The owners and staff are friendly, personable, accommodating, and fast. Service is great, though during very busy hours there can be a wait. If not sitting at the bar, ordering is done at a kiosk with pickup at the counter. The experience is a wonderful and super tasty surprise, well worth the price for the quality and ambiance.
