I opened it and was like my goodness. 😋. It was so delicious. I about downed the whole thing. 😅 Also, when I went to pick it up, they were super friendly. My food was ready to go and neatly package. “It is our favorite sushi place in town by far (and we have a lot of sushi places here)! Fish is always fresh, rolls are creative and delicious, the restaurant is clean, and the service is great. Honestly, this restaurant is in my top 5 Lakeland restaurants. I've had foodie friends from NYC visit and thoroughly enjoy their meals here. My 14-year-old daughter has been obsessed with this place since I introduced her to the Out of Control Roll (my go-to). I highly recommend it.“

“This bakery is phenomenal! I love the rotating menu, but also being able to reorder a few staples year round. I have never been disappointed with any of my choices here. The chicken pot pies are my most favorite ever!

While this is a 5 star spot for the goods, the ordering process leaves much to be desired. There is often a line, with the pick up area crowded and hard to locate. There isn’t a menu posted in the store, you have to look at the pastries laid out on the counter, but when there is a line it is hard to see all of the options. You will wait at least 20 minutes for your order, most wait times are closer to 30 minutes. But, even so, this bakery is an absolute MUST TRY if you are in the Lakeland area!

“We were in town for an event and Abuelo's was recommended. One of the best meals I have had and customer service was exceptional. The El Jefe margarita is top notch and our waitress, along with the bartender, did an amazing job with recommendations based on what we told them we preferred. Loved our dinner and would make a trip back!“

“Love this Thai place - the best one in Lakeland, in my opinion. I adore the curries, especially the green and Masaman, which are spicy, flavorful, fresh, and absolutely delicious. We always start with their crispy spring rolls, although the curry puff is tasty also. My girls love the chicken udon noodles, which are done perfectly. Nice-sized portions, great service, clean restaurant. In my Lakeland top 5 - highly recommend.“

“Food made with love!!! What else is there to say. Fresh, healthy, home made, delicious food. From appetizers to desserts, you will want to eat everything on the menu. Lots of choices no matter what diet you follow (vegetarian, vegan, omnivore, low carb, ect…) Friendly service with lots of attentive smiles. “I've never had a bad experience here! Food is always consistently delicious. Never have to wait for a seat. I'm not a sushi person so can't comment on that, but my favorite Thai dishes are always prepared as expected.

They had a party of seventeen today, who came after church. Then there arrived an additional party of 11! The 2nd party was able to be seated in the sunken dining area and there was still two available booths plus the other half of the sunken dining room. Clearly lunchtime after church may be their busiest time, so plan accordingly and reserve a space ahead of you intend to seat a larger party.

My only complaint: I asked for half sweetened / half unsweetened tea and it was extremely sweet. Also it seemed like the water used may have been unfiltered.

Vegetarian options: Most dishes other than sushi can easily be made with vegetables only.

Dietary restrictions: Pretty sure all curry dishes and most sushi would be gluten free.

Parking: If they get extremely busy you might have to get creative with parking, but you'll be able to park in the provided loot regardless.

Kid-friendliness: It's best for well-behaved children. It's a quiet, peaceful environment. They do have the sunken dining area which simulates sitting on the floor on a cushion. You may have to have a larger party to utilize that area, but children would probably enjoy it.
