“We came to Waffle House in Lakeland, Florida to celebrate my son’s 17th birthday, and what we experienced was so much more than just breakfast—it was something truly special.

My son loves Waffle House, so we came as a family, along with his best friend who we flew in from Allentown, Pennsylvania just to spend this time together. From the moment we sat down, everything felt warm and welcoming—but what truly made this visit unforgettable was our waitress, Amanda J.

She shared that she’s been working there for 16 years, and it absolutely shows. Her kindness, attention, and genuine care went above and beyond anything we expected. She made us feel like more than just customers—like family.

And then she did something that touched my heart in a way I’ll never forget. She left my son a handwritten note that said:
“Believe in the magic within you. It’s capable of extraordinary things.” 🤍

That meant everything. On his birthday, in such a simple but powerful way, she uplifted him and made the moment even more meaningful.

Waffle House—whoever is in charge—please recognize Amanda J. She is truly a gem. Employees like her are rare, and she deserves to be celebrated.

“Waffle House is like an old friend when we want breakfast. This place was packed in a Sunday noontime. They had 10 people working very efficiently. We were seated and served quickly. The food was good except for whatever fat they put inside the biscuit. Tasted weird. Will come again!“
