“We come in every year while visiting family in FL. We’ve always been happy however this year was exceptional! From all the food to our server Cecelia we could not have been more satisfied. Thank you for another enjoyable experience for our yearly visit!“
“My favorite bar is Sarasota/Bradenton. The food reminds me of back home in Pennsylvania. The people remind me of a combination of the best people from the Eagles, Moose, and Elks combined with a family reunion of my favorite family members. I love this place.“
“Always a good time with excellent bartenders that are friendly and kind that hustle to make sure that you have a drink and your food without a long wait. Plenty of TV's to watch whatever game or program you desire and professional entertaining musicians in the evenings. There's no other place that offers as much as Salty Jim'“
“My wife and I went here the other night as part of our exploration of the local cuisine on the island. Let me first say that this is a very fun spot with live music in a upbeat island bar atmosphere. The drinks where good and we both had the Craft burger made to order with fries. Though they were good and perfectly cooked their was nothing particularly stand outish about the selection. The fries were good a crispy obviously hand cut in house. Staff we interacted with were friendly enough however our waiter seemed a bit tired. We did come in a little later in the evening to miss the on peak dinner rush so maybe they just had a really hectic day. Prices were very reasonable for the quality of the fair. So again if your looking for a hassle free quick bite or are just looking to soak up some alcohol while listening to some good live music, this could very well be your place.Parking: It's better to be walking distance from your lodging. Then parking is no issue. At peak times in the village there is literally no where to park. Paid parking is about $60 per day now. We just walk everywhere. Then we don't have to watch what we drink either. Take the Frog Hop or the Trolly if your to far to walk they are provided free, but appreciate tips.“
“Got the burger, BLT, chips with mango salsa and most importantly the sweet potato fries. DO NOT MISS THE SWEET POTATOE FRIES!! Best I've ever had. Server was Rose and she was the sweetest. A little noisy inside, so we enjoyed dining on the patio and it was an all around lovely experience!“
“Two great meals and amazing staff to boot. Weary from travel this restaurant delivered the best dirty martini thank you Tobias, and pan seared Cod with Marsala sauce topping and a tomatoe Pearl onion with capers lemon butter sauce. Mmmmmmmm don’t miss this right off Hwy 75 outside Sarasota.“
“The food was amazing! We stopped here for lunch before noon on a Monday in March. We had a part of four and ordered the Bottomless Chips & Salsa with Beer Cheese. They hit the spot and we ended up getting a second round (for free, since it’s bottomless). The beer cheese really makes it special and was delicious.Everyone ordered something different for lunch. I ordered the Chop (salad) and really liked it. It had real bacon and the ranch dressing tasted awesome. My husband ordered the Triple Decker Turkey, my son got the Buffalo Chicken sandwich and my daughter got the Classic Burger. See photos. Everyone loved their meal. The fries were great! We really wanted to eat outside (honestly that never happens, but here the weather was beautiful). But, it was really windy and the sign outside blew over and it was just too windy for us, so we moved inside. The outside seating is plentiful and has a nice view.I counted tried to count the number of televisions, I got 15 but that might not be accurate. They have a lot of TV’s.This place had a great vibe.As far as service, we had to flag down the waitress a couple times, since she didn’t stop by and ask if we wanted more chips/salsa (you could see the beer cheese was gone and salsa was almost empty) and when we were ready for the check. I’d recommend letting the wait staff know that they should check back in more often. The place only had a few tables filled so it wasn’t super busy.We don’t live in Florida, but would definitely go back to this restaurant next time we visit and highly recommend. This restaurant is in a great location within Lakewood Ranch in the Main Street area.Parking: There are a few parking spots right out front or there is a parking lot that is walkable that has plenty of parking.“
