“Took my sister here for her birthday weekend. The tuna tartar and skirt steak with rice and vegetables...que sabrosa! Steak was SO tender and tuna muy fresca. Only dish i didn't like was a cold muscle dish. Muscles were good but other ingredients not to my liking.Finally service was excellent. I live in Lake Worth Beach so will definitely return.“

“First visit and definitely will not be my last. Ordered the chicken, buffalo chicken and coconut curry chicken empanadas (curry chicken was my favorite) . All were excellent. As I came towards the end of the day, they were out of dessert empanadas, however they offered to prepare what I wanted if I could wait about 10 minutes. No problem! I went outside and ate one of empanadas and out came the desserts when done. I tried the apple, dulce de leche and guava and cheese (not all immediately lol) ... all were really good (apple was my favorite.) Pairing them with ice cream ... yeah!Prices are reasonable... taste, variety and service were great. Highly recommended.“

“I have been coming here for years! Maybe once a year but when they first opened I was here at least twice a week! I personally know the owners and they are the absolute sweetest! It’s nice to come and see they have hired workers that mean things are going great for them! I had no doubt they will be still standing years to come in just happy to have a place so close to home as nice as black bean! The food and pastries and aren’t anything short of amazing! (If you’re in doubt get a burrito) but I promise you won’t be disappointed! Come support black bean if you love great food!“

“When we first went here a couple years ago, we didn't know anything about latin food or speak spanish, it's our number one choice for lunch or dinner, food is always good and service is always good, the place is neat and clean and never crowded, one day it will when people find out how good it is. Favorite is Burripaisa it's fantastic!“

“We had paella which I wasn't aware is a Cuban dish rather than Spanish but it was delicious. Cocktails were good. Service was quick (they prepared the paella in less than the advertised 1h despite us not pre-ordering it) but the restaurant wasn't busy when we were there. Not very atmospheric though. “Very delicious pupusas, chicken tamales sometimes very hard, chickpeas, corn tamales very delicious but we would like them to be less dry. In the inner area it is already an environment for men to come to eat and drink their beer, it is nice to eat better in the outer area with the shady ones. I like coming, some waitresses are not very smiling and seem mean but there are others who always look happy even though they look tired. This is a very difficult and tiring job for them and they should always leave tips to make the sacrifice more worth it. You can hardly find chicken tamales anymore and that's what we always order the most but they don't want to make them anymore. If I recommend this place you should try their food little by little so that if something opens that you really like and you will keep coming back.“

“Ate here for the first time tonight. From the moment we walked in the guy at the counter was so friendly and helpful. The food was better than we expected. I had the 1/4 chicken with sweet plantains and mixed vegetables. I also ordered a side of the garlic potato’s and the chicken noodle soup. My Hubbie ordered the steak with Caesar salad and fries. I will say that the chicken was good. It would have been a little better if it had been hotter. The sweet plantains had been around for a bit but I could tell that when fresh they were really good. The chicken noodle soup had a little too much spice for me but it was good. This is the kind of soup you would want if you were sick. The garlic potato’s were the star of the whole show! Absolutely amazing and so tender. The mixed vegetables were plentiful but how much can one eat? They included cauliflower, carrots and broccoli. My husbands steak was low quality but a large piece. The fries were cooked to perfection! The salad was fine but ignored since there was so much food. Hubbie had a soda and I do not drink when eating so nothing for me. Total was $33 and change. I know that seems like a lot but we got A LOT of food. The service was superb! The guy at the counter (sorry I didn’t get your name but you really made it extra special) answered all our questions as I said before it was our first time. He didn’t get agitated with us or rush us. He came by our table to check on us and see if we liked our food. We will definitely return.“

“First time checking this place out for tacos. Taco's are on their menu at $3.00 each but for Taco Tuesday the chicken and beef ones are $1.00 each so I had to try both! When I first came in no one at register but a few minutes later a lady came from the back and greeted me! She was pleasant and smiled ! After order which took about ten minutes I got my tacos which were served on a plate with some green hot sauce in a plastic container! The chicken one was shredded white breast meat which were very dry and lacked any flavor to the meat! That taco had cilantro and onion on it corn tortilla which was warmed yea!! ! The beef taco had a better flavor and was not dry with cilantro and onion. If I were to come again I recommend just order the beef and the price can't be beat ! If in area on a Tuesday I would stop back in ! I don't know if those tacos on other days are the same but those tacos I had are not worth $3.00. The parking there is very small ! When I went there was a camper parked in middle in between that restaurant and a company that works on cars not length wise but width wise! Not easy to get in and out because of how it's parked !! Kinda aggravating to park with that parked where it is ! Outside taco place they have many benches to sit outside !“

I wish they had aguacate but I can’t be super picky over one thing. My mom said the alcapuria was small but it did not look great as you would find in a cuchifrito! Nice! The owner is super chévere and we had a nice chat towards the end about his business. I would highly recommend this place. The wait time on the comida is over by the you finish the menu. I love and support small business. Please check them out and get those freaking beans! I paid a lot for the meal but I also took a lot of treats home that you can only usually find online or in PR. There is also a greek place across the street that is amazing the food in this area is great. Staff was also great. Both great for dates but not full blown dinner parties due to limited seating. ??“
