“Great first time experience in the area. Cheyenne made the experience worthwhile. The food didn’t disappoint and it was great service in a comfortable environment. I felt like i was the most important person there. Lots of great options on the menu. I’ll be back to try more. it was very filling.Parking: $5 to park in the garage around the block on sunday.“

“Small town charm in a beautifully spruced up mom & pop style breakfast eatery. Any given day you'll see the regulars at their Breakfast Club - golfers, dad taking the kids out, senior power-walking ladies, truckers. A great little secret in plain sight on Military, (like most quality things in Florida!) packed to the rafters by the regulars and discoverers. A lot like the "Cheers" bar, but with coffee and grits. No two coffee mugs are alike! My friend was told the staff picks you one for your personality...but it was said with a wink.Staff is delightful, warm & friendly, even as they race from kitchen to table to table to table! TIP THEM BIG!!! They earn it! Also selling jams & jellies, and if you need a handyman, just look at the business card board behind the register. Food is homemade delicious and there's plenty of it.The beautiful spruce up added delighful scenic murals outside and lots of airy seating, but all the atmosphere is packed inside! Whether it's daily, once a week or once a vacation, make sure you treat yourself to this charmer!Vegetarian options: They are very accommodating - just ask!!Dietary restrictions: They can make or remove pretty much anything you askParking: Always a lot of vehicles, so you know it's a great place! But plenty of spaces.Kid-friendliness: A dad can be seen bringing his daughter in for special day out, or the son after morning baseball practice. Friendly staff!“

“If you’re trying to get out of your comfort zone this place does everything good. Drinks were amazing made with fresh ingredients none of those artificial sweeteners, food different also amazing. We sat at the bar and the bartender was very helpful. They have a happy hour menu with 1/2 off drinks.“

“What can you say about an unassuming, family run bbq, where, if you pull around the back to park, you get an eyeful of a huge smoker and snootful of that ‘just exactly perfect’ smoked meat aroma? Well, imho, it’s the best bbq I’ve had, with the possible exception of my cousin’s mother-in-law’s homemade pulled pork (Virginia). We make sure to hit Troy’s every time we are down here in South Florida, bypassing more than half a dozen bbq joints that are closer to home. It’s that good. This year we decided to go ribs and only ribs, although I also recommend without reservation both the pulled pork and brisket (especially those evasive ‘burnt ends’). BUT THE RIBS, are simply perfection on a plate. Smokey, succulent and delicious, served dry or wet, spicy or mild. As soon as we ordered (you order at the counter and you can watch the show), the meat man pulled out his cleaver, selected a rack from the smoker, and began to hack away with great precision. First he cut off the rib tips with one blow, 4 more separated each of the 5 meaty ribs in my order, and then a few more hacks to cut the rib tips into bite sized portions. I went spicy, my wife went sweet, but either of us would have been perfectly happy with the other. As for sides, they are all just what you hoped they’d be - collard greens, baked beans (maple and bacon - whoa!), Mac and cheese - all splendid in their own right and perfect compliments to the meat. We ended up taking the cornbread home - it’s delicious, but there’s only so much you can eat…!Make no mistake, this is a real deal bbq, so atmosphere is irrelevant - it’s not trying to be Nobu, thank goodness. It’s all the atmosphere you need for ribs. You make a mess and wipe yourself off with brown paper towels - but you can’t wipe the grin off your face. I gave it a 4 for atmosphere but, in case I wasn’t clear, atmosphere is irrelevant if you’re set to eat some real bbq, and this is as real as bbq gets.Go forth and enjoy!!Top recommendation.“

“No other chicken or seafood in the world does it like hooks. I've been coming here forever now and I only order the same thing cause it's too good everytime. I have no doubt in my mind the other food is good, but I'll save the experience of their trying their other food for later when I'll eventually somehow get tired of the same meal. 10/10 I don't wanna go anywhere else when I go all out on dinner“

“This is hidden gem in a very small town in Fellsmere. We have actually eaten there several times over the years. Tried it again last week and had one of the best meals ever. I had the blackened catfish lunch with black eyed peas and okra, yum. Most of their food is southern style. My husband had the chicken with baked beans and mashed potatoes. Our friends who had never been there tried the frog legs and the BLT. No one was disappointed. The service was good and this historic building did not disappoint.“
