“From the moment we walked in, the experience at this restaurant was amazing. The owner, Mily, greeted us with a big smile and made us feel so welcome. She was incredibly hospitable—she even offered my mom a small taste of the legume before ordering, just to make sure she liked it. That level of care and kindness really stood out. Mily also walked us through the ordering process, explaining each dish and helping us feel comfortable with our choices.

I ordered the legume white rice sauce pwa plate and the tassot with diri jon jon, and let me tell you—it was phenomenal. The flavors were amazing , and everything was cooked to perfection. The restaurant’s playlist set the perfect mood, good music and playing at just the right volume not loud. Plus, the restaurant
was spotless—tables floors, were clean.

You can tell Mily truly cares about her customers and takes pride in every dish she serves. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the service was personal, and the food was absolutely delicious. We’ll definitely be coming back! If you’re in the area please come check her out!“

“When visiting the area for a weekend we searched for somewhere to get doubles for breakfast. We luckily came across D Trini Spot. The food was so delicious that we came back a second time. The owner, Peats was pleasant as we all talked about Trinidad. We had doubles, Saheena, aloo pie, sada with saltfish and bake with saltfish. There’s plenty of drink options, homemade punch and ice creams as well as other Trini sweets! If we’re back in the area in the future we’ll be making it a priority to stop here again“

“Listen I was so hungry after church drove by and decided to stopped by . I ordered griot and ask them to fry it soft and to add the fatty pieces. The black rice was delicious and well seasoned , the meat was tender and Savory everything was great.
The person who took my order was really nice and kind. I also got their fresh lemonade it was so good, not too sweet just right.

“My family and I love trying new flavors from different places, so we decided to try this little place called: which is located on W. Commercial Blvd. and 441st Street in a large shopping plaza. The place is small, simple, but with an incredible flavor, WOW! We ordered a Brown Stew Chicken which had an incredible flavor, and you can't help but admire the prices😳 They don't even exist in a Chinese restaurant, no wonder there are lines of people buying their food at this place; that's why my husband and I have come to the conclusion: it's useless if the place has spectacular or extraordinary decor, if what will convince you is the flavor of their dishes. We will definitely return! Ahhh, not to mention that the service is very pleasant, the prices incredible, and the food sufficient and delicious. Why aren't these places as well-known? I went last minute after coming from a wake and wanted to feed a good amount of people. The food was excellent. Everyone wanted to know where the food came from. Finger licking good.“
