“On a major pedestrian road with thousands of people crowding restaurants, THIS is the move. Very private & secluded from the hustle of the main road, this place has everything. It is a little pricey but the food you get is great! Our servers were so attentive and kind, they were the best. Our guacamole dip was phenomenal, the truffle fried rice was a very good option too, and the dragon roll was tasty but not as filling as I hoped. For $15 maki rolls, I’d go all-in and get the Volcano roll. We got the matcha cheesecake that I will spend the rest of my life fantasizing about that dessert.“

“The sushi/ sashimi is the freshest and tastiest I’ve had in the area BUT- my only complaint and this might be a personal preference thing - the rolls are HUGE. like overly bulky and big, and they are very loose and sloppy. Like the rolls fall apart when you pick them up. They need to be rolled much smaller and much tighter. One roll I had to eat in almost 3 bites per piece. You def cannot pop one piece in your mouth. I also thought - and again this might be personal preference- but the sashimi pieces were soooooo thick. Like the salmon and tuna sashimi looked liked small square filets I could cook on a pan. It was almost 1 inch thick. I just like my sashimi thinner I guess?

“Stopped by to grab some to go , and saw the rating was high and now I know why. I have a thing with restaurants that will have specials posted on the wall or written on a board , it lets me know they're growing as restaurant and open to ideas or willing to try new things, and that is one of the first things you'll see when you walk in. They'll have them posted on the wall where you can see. They also have a lot of pictures on the wall to show you what they're menu items look like. I love that everything on the menu isn't over priced! Great for it's quality of the food and quantity. The atmosphere kind of takes me back to a NY/NJ Sushi spot and you just know that if it looked like this, the food was gonna be great. They served all the popular rolls and they do have rice dishes like katsu and they have takoyaki which is something we are always ordering. Overall ,The service was on point, they were quick and attentive all while answering phone calls for orders. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a solid sushi spot. 🤙“

“I was in the area for an appointment and I decided I want to stop in this place that said Thai sushi express. I ordered the vegetable soup, and it was one of the best vegetable soup I had ever had quite condensed with tofu and the vegetables. I also ordered the spicy tuna sushi rolls excellent. I even like the seaweed wrap that they use, which was very different from other places that I have been a patron of. I will go again and make it one of my regular places to eat. I do agree with other reviews that it is some of the best sushi I have had in this particular area of Florida.“

Tuna, cabbage, cucumber, and carrots with wasabi cream dressing was one of my favorite combinations. The portion size is very satisfying. For the price, you cannot get a fresher, tastier poke bowl than this. In terms of the environment, this is a small store, but I really love the vibe and décor. “Another great find in our new 'hood: Sushi Boat! Small hole in the wall w/ friendly service. The 1st place I've ever tried where the Spicy Tuna Roll actually had a kick! Plus the JB Roll wasnt nearly half cream cheese. My sister loved her Crunchy Salmon Roll & Udon as well. With only a .2 mile distance to boot, I forsee this becoming our regular go to for sushi takeout in the area.“

“So our family (well kids to be specific) has always had a tradition of going out to Hibachi for birthdays. For years we were going to Saitos on Lyons and Glades then they closed down. Honestly was never my favorite, but tradition is tradition. So we moved on to Benihana’s. Well don’t be fooled by the name. Their food and particularly their service was waaay below PAR. Anyways getting to the point, we wanted to try a new spot and stumbled on Saiko-I. From the first few minutes after being seated we could already tell the dramatic difference. The service was on point. Drinks served immediately, appetizers and meals ordered shortly after. Then came the chef. He was fun, entertaining, funny and efficient. The food was probably the best hibachi I’ve had. None of the one item at a time nonsense you get at the other places. And they used much less of the butter and other garbage they throw in at other spots. At the end of our meal we complemented the GM and she went out of her way to make our business feel appreciated. The staff here was friendly, classy and fun, and the food was amazing. Found our new spot! No this is not a solicited review, I was just super impressed with this place.
