“Those ribs and chicken was nothing but the truth!(That means good!) I’m from Miami but willing to take the drive for some tasty and seasoned to perfection BBQ. I’ll be back real soon 😊 The food was so good I forgot to take a picture but take my word it was YUMMY!!!!!!!!!!!“
“If you're a die-hard jerk fan like myself, then you gotta check out Keitus Seafood Grill & Jerk. This food truck isn't just another jerk spot; it's a jerk experience!Let me start by raving about their jerk oxtail pasta. This dish is a revelation. The oxtail was slow-cooked to melt-in-your-mouth perfection, infused with that smoky, spicy jerk flavor that had me wanting more. And the pasta? Perfectly cooked and tossed in a jerk sauce that complemented the oxtail beautifully. This is a dish worthy of its champion status (2-time Jerk Festival Champ, baby!)Now, I'm usually a purist when it comes to jerk, but this pasta dish is a game-changer. It's innovative, flavorful, and downright addictive. It's clear these guys know their jerk! The portion size was generous, and the price point was fair for the quality of ingredients and the explosion of taste. The service was friendly and attentive, which is always a plus.Overall, Keitus Seafood Grill & Jerk gets 5 stars from me. They're serving up award-winning jerk with a creative twist, and I can't wait to go back and try more from their menu. Seriously, do yourself a favor and get the jerk oxtail pasta. You won't regret it!“

“We learned from this place online, we are Balkans ( Macedonia and Serbia) and these were the best cevapi and pleskavica I have ever had. Urnabes and kajmak were over the moon. Ate there two days in a row and I’m sad we are leaving tomorrow back to Boston. The atmosphere is very cozy. Few food trucks lined up in a circle and tables in the middle for sitting with lights around. I love it. Def recommend this place 100% don’t miss it“

“Nice little food truck business! The portions are fair and accurate to the cost. I drove to the food truck to see many cars in and out and picking up food, a true testament to the local popularity of this small business. I believe this business is a hidden gem and if you've had it, you really know how good it is! I ordered the chicken chimichanga and holy smokes... that thing is unreal. Glad I'm one of the people who have discovered this business!“

“Some of my favorite places to eat are restaurants that transitioned from food trucks as is the case with BMC Smash Burgers. BMC Smash Burgers began in 2021 as a popular food truck, Eat BMC operated by Jason "Jay Rok" Smith. In August of this year the brick-and-mortar location of BMC Smashburger opened on Dixie Highway in Oakland Park. Smith has taken smash burgers, thin beef patties cooked on a super-hot griddle to a new level of deliciousness. The burger is pressed with a spatula, to increase browning and crispy edges for maximum flavor. The smash burger technique is said to have been popularized by the Smashburger chain founded in Denver in 2007.
I finally got the chance to try BMC Smash Burgers after visiting the Small Biz Saturday Local Makers Market that was being held across the tracks. Parking for the restaurant is limited but I found a strip of free spaces across the street. The inside is no frills with a few tables and two more out front. You order at the counter and they brought my food out to me when it was ready. While I waited for my meal I was able to watch cooking in the open kitchen.
The menu features the smash burgers that made them famous but it also has a patty melt, hot dogs, tots, and fries. Dessert is a fresh baked cookie. You can't go wrong with the BMC Smash, a house blend patty of chuck-brisket-short rib blend , grilled onions, American cheese, BMC sauce, and house pickles, or take it up a notch with a Spicy BMC Smash, which start with the classic BMC Smash Burger and adds pepper jack cheese and house-pickled jalapeños.
I ordered the single BMC burger with fries and I was not disappointed. The flavor packed burger had crispy, lacy edges while still remaining juicy in the middle. The house made pickles are chef's kiss and the BMC signature sauce was the perfect topping for the burger while also making an excellent dipping sauce for the fries. It is easy to see why so many lists have named BMC smash burgers as the best in Broward.“
“If you don’t know, now you know… The Caribe Vegan is BACK! Available to dine in (with real plates and silverware) in a beautiful garden setting at the Zen Mind Space in Wilton Manors (with a private parking lot) or for pick up at same location or order on Uber Eats or Grub Hub for delivery. First up thing I tried was one of the three Sushis rolls on the menu called, URSULA MOVED TO DOMINICAN REPUBLIC, it consisted of Vegan shrimp (made from heart of palm), sweet plantain, tofu cream cheese, cucumber, carrot & crispy onions drizzled with her secret island sauce. The fusion style sushi roll, was full of flavor, and had a good texture through out, was definitely one of my favorite things I tried, and I would definitely get it again and highly recommend it when you order from her, but it definitely left me curious to try some of her other fusion style rolls, I could actually imagine just ordering all 3 rolls and calling it a night. The next dish was a caribe classic, a CRABCAKE (made with heart of palm) served over Dominican-style mashed plantain with garlic & vegan butter and Crabcake, smothered in a house made cheesy garlic sauce & pickled cabbage, do I have to say more? Just out of the world taste and flavor explosion, just like at the picture below, it was insane and so big. The final plate was a bowl for the soul, THE DOMINI SOULFOOD PLATE, that consisted of Latin style fried chkn (made from mushrooms and jackfruit), mac & cheese, candied yams mixed with sweet plantain. The Chick’n was crunchy, and fried just right, she topped it with her special sauce, that really gives new meaning to special! I hope she starts selling It by the bottle, because it’s so good! The mac & cheese was creamy and had a very good consistency. It was all complimented so well with candied yams and plantains that were the perfect sweet to go with the spice, an all around can’t miss plate, highly recommended. If you have ate at the Caribe Vegan in the past, you already know the amount of love she puts into each dish, and if you have never got to try her before, here’s your chance. Her new location is a beautiful event space, yoga studio and offers therapeutic massage as well (check for class times and appointment), it has lots of parking and a great zen garden to chill and enjoy your food, I definitely suggest stopping in, saying hi, and enjoying the food (it’s ok to bring a few canned beverages, if that’s your vibe). Check her Instagram @thecaribevegan for updated hours, menu items. Now rejoice she is back, and be happy that you to can have this incredible food tomorrow night for dinner. — at Zen Mind Space.“
“I was going to sit here & ramble about how amazing Adam & Hector are, but I would rather put my toast to him from the wedding instead: We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Adam, our amazing wedding coordinator and the owner of Sidecar Kitchen. Adam, you have been an absolute rock throughout the planning process. You listened to all of my crazy ideas and helped bring them to life. Your patience and dedication never wavered, even when I changed my mind multiple times, just to change it again once more. From the delicious food to ensuring this day was everything I dreamed of, thank you for making our wedding special. The food, the setting—everything is beyond our wildest dreams, and we owe so much of that to you. We cannot wait to eat Sidecar Kitchen food again!!! Adam will be my coordinator for any event I ever put on!“
