“The atmosphere is cute and welcoming. Menu was decent sized Live music a plus Food was delicious My martini wasn’t great something was wrong with it but I didn’t want complain.“

“Picked up a couple of subs and fries to take home for dinner this evening, very impressed. Glad that they extended their hours, they used to close way too early for us to consider for a meal. The fries were amazing. The menu is pretty extensive. The service was friendly and efficient. Prices were reasonable. Our new go-to place. Check it out!“

“The chocolate cone was yummy. I did not want it dipped in chocolate but somehow that’s what happened. The staff needs to understand the orders. They also need an in service as to how to properly dip cones for DQ. The dip was not good.“

“I'm picky about my fried shrimp and it was excellent. The slaw, potato salad, and half and half tea were good also. Beautiful day to sit outside and have some lunch for a reasonable price. Christine waited on me and she was the best.“

“Great dive bar atmosphere! The bartender was friendly and the food and drinks were reasonably priced. They rotate live music with bingo and karaoke and other stuff from the flyer I saw. There was a guy playing guitar and singing when I was there and it was fun. No smoking inside but they have a outdoor area for smokers. They do poker runs, pub crawls and other activities for everyone to join in on. The bartender was telling us it's a non profit that donates to the local Police, Fire and EMS Services. Only been there once but we had a good time. I'll be back!“

“I got stranded in Brandon after trying to rent a car. I spent the last of my money to get me as close to home as I could get which left me stranded here at Hardee’s. This kid Aidan C is the most generous person I’ve met in a long time. I asked if I could wait here while I found a ride home and explained my situation. He offered to buy me something to eat and then offered to help me pay for a ride home. His kindness has been so appreciated. A friend of mine actually sent me the money I need to uber home but Aidan’s kind offers brought tears to my eyes after an extremely rough day. The world needs more people like Aidan who truly care. God bless you Aidan. He deserves a raise simply for being a wonderful human being with a big heart. Thank you so much for your kindness.“

“The food was always ok but I went there for the shakes. The last one I got was ridiculously small. I even gave them back and said large. I'm going to make shakes at home from now on. Not worth the price.“

“Had not been to a checkers in years and stopped in to grab something to snack on quick between errands. Place appears well maintained and in an easy to access area. I was thrown off at the drive thru. When you pull up an automated (possibly AI?) takes your order, not an actual person. So, that was new and odd but, my order was right so, that was good. The staff were quick with my order and very pleasant. I ordered these Philly fried things and a large sweet tea. The food is as I remember, it was ok, nothing really to gush over but not terrible either. Prices have gone up since I was last there but, still better than some places, especially since they have more budget friendly deals than most. Overall, not too shabby and would go back again for sure but next time I'll get a burger and fries.“
