“For no frills dining, Godson's is the best in town. Terrific NY style pizza with top shelf flour in the dough. Calzone is perfectly balanced and topped with garlic. Big surprise is the cheesesteak sub- best since the Boiler Room shut down. A÷÷÷ food. Thanks guys!“

“Gave this place a shot super-late one night when nothing else was open and couldn’t have been happier. The pizza was great and they keep serving food in the hours when everyone else has closed or shut down their kitchen for the night. Now that I know about it, I’d go back even when everyone else in the area is still open/serving.

Update: Ordered from them a few times since I wrote my original review (?) five years ago and my last experience was really rough. The pizza was just so poorly made and not at all up to the standards I’d come to expect from them. Hopefully it was just a fluke but it was so disappointing that I haven’t been back since. I’m only dropping my review to 4stars because of all the good experiences I had before but… that last one was pretty bad.“

“We love ordering from Hungry Howies and order from there about once a week. The staff is always friendly and prompt and food is excellent. Just one slight problem tonight, we ordered a Italian sub and chef salad with Italian dressing, well today we did not get the dressing with our salad. “Unexpectedly, and pleasantly surprised. We decided to have pizza and I thought I’d try that new pizza that all the commercials are about, Domino’s Stuffed crust pizza. Honestly, my expectations were not very high because I already liked another place but I thought I would try it anyway. Unbelievable. The cheese in the crust stretched about 12 inches. It was soft and wonderful and the crust was just the right amount of crisp, and a little tangy from the Parmesan cheese. I just ordered a random hodgepodge of toppings, Philly steak, ham, onions and mushrooms. It was cooked to perfection. I just really can’t adequately describe how good that pizza was. We also ordered the barbecue wings because the two items were on sale if purchased together There is a five dollar charge to deliver the pizza and I gave him 25% tip, so altogether it wasn’t cheap but the food itself was not expensive either. It was really worth it. You really should try this pizza and wings. The wings were piping hot, juicy, and tasted like a Sweet Baby Ray’s barbecue sauce. I don’t usually get wings either. It’s just that they were on sale so we saved $12 between the two. You gotta try it. Trust. It was excellent. Almost forgot. Arrived quickly. And for Friday night that was impressive. I don’t usually give reviews, but this one was extraordinary for a chain pizza place.“

“We took grandma for her 97th birthday lunch. We could not have picked a better spot! From helping mom get inside with her walker to the outstanding service for a party of 9 to the fantastic food, we were so impressed. You can taste the love in every bite! They make their pasta and focaccia in-house and you can certainly taste the difference from dried bulk pasta. We tried a variety of options from soups, salads, pasta and stuffed focaccia sandwiches-all were so delicious.
