Great attention! I've been eating at this restaurant with my Pai for 7 years now, since I was 16! Álvarez is a basic and incredible element. Good prices. The food is very fresh and made right in front of you. The father, son, and family are amazing and friendly. The best authentic Mexican food in the area. “I am Cuban, I have been living here in Tampa for more than 25 years. I have tried Cuban sandwiches in different places and the Cuban sandwich at this place is EXCELLENT. I RECOMMEND IT. Just as the roast pork is delicious, the coffee with milk is also excellent. The prices are consistent. with the food. The treatment is familiar and pleasant, you don't have to wait to be served. You can call to place your order and you just have to pick it up. I RECOMMEND IT, VERY GOOD SERVICE AND GOOD PRICES AND ATTENTION.“

“El Manjar has great Salvadorian food. The place is small “a hole in a wall”, service if you eat there is very slow because they actually cook/prepare the food. The pupusas are the very tasty w the cole slaw which is somewhat hot. A place to visit and try but be ready to wait if you choose a weekend.“

“My wife and I have many favorite Latin American restaurants, but this one absolutely blew us away. The breaded steak was the actual best I’ve ever had. It was so tender that we only needed a fork to eat it. The breading was also flavorful and crunchy. The rest of the plate was great as well. “Great customer service, the breakfast platter of Calentao Completo comes with rice & beans, mixed together, scrambled eggs on the side & a good size portion of a boneless pork chop , areapa & cheese and coffee .That meal is enough to keep you full all day.The icing on the cake was the bakery where you can choose from pan de bono, a cheese bread delight, or many of their tasty danishes, and sweet treats. My favorite place to eat when I am in town. A hidden gem for sure.“
