This was one of the best meals, and definitely the best breakfast we had in the Clearwater-Treasure Island-St Pete Beach area. We almost never go back to places more than once when we travel because we want to try different places, but we went back to Corner Kitchen twice! Corner Kitchen & Coffee House is a very cute and inviting cafe by the beach, known for its excellent food and wonderful service. The menu offers interesting and delicious choices, especially for breakfast and brunch. Highly recommended items include the amazing Cuban breakfast sandwich, the Ultimate BLT, the Carnitas Breakfast Burrito, and the Mad Beach Club. The cubano sandwich, omelettes, açaí bowl, pasta salad, and sausage patties are also very good. For drinks, the Lavazza coffee is extremely tasty and the best, with specific praise for the cappuccino, caramel macchiato, chai latte, and regular latte. The berry smoothie, tropical smoothie, and mimosas are also wonderful.
The friendly and attentive staff contribute to a great experience. While most food receives praise, some notes mention that the home fries can be disappointing and some items may be greasy. The coffee drinks are considered expensive but worth it. Overall, it is a place that guests love and highly recommend, often returning multiple times.
